My opinions on all the contestants, but the names are not in any particular order:
1) Shakti...she's the best dancer out of the whole lot, no doubt about that. I really liked her performance and more than her, I absolutely love her choreographer. Wow. He's just amazing. These two are perfect together, I am really looking forward to seeing some amazing performances of theirs in the coming episodes.
2) Ashish...His performance was very good and Shampa is an amazing choreographer. AS is a good dancer but he has lots of room to improve. Looking forward to seeing his growth as a dancer on the show, I can see him as a finalist and maybe even as the winner. All the best to him.
3) Mouni...I really loved Mouni. I'd never heard of her before JDJ so I didn't have any expectations from her, but after seeing her performance...even though the judges didn't like it too much...and I agree her dance concept was not that great...she herself was very graceful and poised. Loved it.
4) Puja...I think she's absolutely beautiful. And she was also very graceful and flexible...she has the potential to become a really great dancer...I can see her giving us some really awesome performances...I am looking forward to seeing more of her.
5) Karan...he's cute. His performance wasn't that great, it was very...normal...I had been expecting more from him. I definitely think he can improve though, and hopefully with this new international choreographer of his we will get to see some great performances from him. I think he can emerge as a strong contestant for sure.
6) Palak...this contestant is used to provide comic relief...and dances in her/his "costume"...I frankly find it all very annoying. Palak/Kiku is a good dancer (though truly not as great as the judges seem to think) but I don't have the patience to watch her/his OTT jokes. Palak's first performance was entertaining but I don't know if it deserved 27 marks. Just my opinion.
7) Akshat...this kid has a lot of energy and is entertaining but his Salman Khan/Akshay Kumar/Govinda acts get old after some time. He's a good dancer though, especially for his age and size. I just don't find him too interesting.
8) Andy...can I puke? What was that introduction of his? And that performance...he was barely dancing. I don't see him improving in his dancing too much in the future. Maybe he will prove me wrong...but please, let's not vote for Andy.
9) Sophie...her performance was cute. It was quick and quirky and kept my interest. I think she deserved more marks than she got - compared to how some got high marks when I feel that they didn't really deserve it. Sophie is quite graceful and there's something very fresh and pleasant about her dancing. Hopefully she will give us some good performances in the future...I have a feeling she will, she has the potential to do so. Don't know if she'll go far enough to be a finalist though.
10) Sreesanth...he was quite good. He didn't manage to keep my interest but that may be because I have my own prejudices against him. I think he has a lot of room for improvement, I don't see him as a finalist however. Again, that may just be my prejudices against him talking.
11) Purab...he gave a difficult and very interesting act. The concept captured my interest but the performance did not. Despite all the flips and whatnot, I was bored. I was just waiting for him to finish. Don't know much about him and so far he hasn't done anything to make me want to know anything about him. Seems like a nice guy but that's about it.
12) Sukhwinder...oh Sukhwinder ji. We all know you're a great singer, but you have to dance in JDJ...it is after all a dance show. I respect this man for being honest and for doing his best the way he thinks is right, but I don't see him going far in the show. And I don't think he really cares for going far. So good luck to him, but without a doubt he will be one of the first contestants to be eliminated.
13) Kritika...I found Kritika's costume absolutely hideous. It did not flatter her and frankly I feel that it took away from her performance. She tried to perform well, but I don't think she has a strong dancer in her. She just doesn't have that poise in her. Here's to hoping that her choreographer manages to bring out the best dancer possible in her...we actually may get to see some good performances from her. One more thing...she did the hologram concept but unlike Ashish's hologram concept Kritika's fell really flat. I did not like her concept at all...it looked too gaudy. Hope Savio comes up with more visually appealing concepts in the future.
Note: Everything written above is solely my genuine opinion. I do not mean to hurt anybody's sentiments and if anyone does feel hurt, my apologies in advance. My opinions aren't going to change because of your feelings though.
