Why Collector is not able to control things in a logical way than letting things go from bad to worse? Like calling media to give his version and also filing a case of defamation etc. etc.There must be a union for even IAS officers to help. Posting police and restraining the media by court orders.

Something similar happened to one of my acquaintances.

Shiv seems to be most hard working of all the men so i guess he is their only hope for continous income. 😆

Reaction on a situation depends on person to person...not everyone can get over such shocks and recover from it quickly...it's hardly been a day since Narendra's death so i don't expect Shiv to recover so quickly and his shocked and baffled personality is making things look more real...Shiv went to office and faced the situation himself which shows that he is neither being helpless nor poor cry baby...he is recovering from shock and trying to get his life back on tracks...hi job and his reputation is at stake and in such complicated cases things change and no one knows what end of stick they might get...i doubt your friend faced he same charges as Shiv...did he?

It is false bribery charge.

There is no solid evidence against shiv except allegations. Allegations anybody can throw.
Nowadays so many officials are subjected to all sorts of allegations.

There were immolation cases by students as a form of protest.

By next week shiv will be proved innocent and rasika will be behind bars along with her paramour.

When rasika was shouting that shiv should confess, shiv should take that opportunity to come out with the truth of rasika. Nothing but truth.

You are right Leaves. Suicide, self immolation bids are common forms of protests and pressure tactics in India. Be it IAS or anyone else, they need to know what can happen and keep composure in face of such incidents. No explanation for feeling guilty over a death.

I am shocked Shiv is not filing defamation case, nor consulting lawyers, fellow IAS, men's rights organisations or offering any statement. He is not even investigating matter himself, like questioning staff about Rasika, looking for proof himself for Narendra's death whether it was really a suicide bid.

Koi mazaak thode na hai ki anyone can come, keep slapping allegations and IAS feels cornered and crumbles at home?
