I just wonder how all of them (children & spouses) are finally going to react to the little secret of R & G? Will they confront the duo without Kalyani's knowledge?

Or is Kalyani going to surprise them all by saying that she knows of the situation for the past 30 years but was waiting for them to tell her?? I don't think she would have any objection to their marriage - which I think took place long before Ganapathy tied the knot with Kalyani....but what is the reason behind this mystery??

June 1 (Fri):

Sujatha's mom tells her husband that she feels sorry for Jeeva and wants to visit her. Her husband does not want her to see Jeeva or go anywhere near her. Sujatha comes there and tells her mother not to visit Jeeva and if she does, she will disown the family and leaves in anger.

Janani meets Kaushik in Jail and promises him that she will take care of Vijay like her own son. She also tells Kaushik about Giri's attitude and that she would not hesitate to leave Giri for the sake of Vijay. Kaushik tells her not to do anything drastic but to try and change Giri. Janani takes leave after promising Kaushik that she will always take good care of Vijay.

Courier delivers a letter for Srithar and is received by Ganapathy. He takes it in and shows to Kalyani. Kalyani tells him to open the letter as it looks official. Ganapathy opens it and is happy to see that it is an appointment order from a US based company for Srithar. Divya and Kalyani join them and are happy about it. Ganapathy calls Srithar and give him the letter. Srithar asks who opened the letter and what right they have to open another's letter. Kalyani tells him that she asked her husband to open the letter as it was addressed to Srithar. Anyway, Ganapathy asks his son when he is joining the company. Srithar asks him why he wants to 'pack' him up and send him away so soon. and by sending him away his 'route' will be clear. Ganapathy is shocked and wants to know why he is talking like that. Srithar then tears the letter and throws it. He tells them he is not interested in the job. Ganapathy asks Srithar what is wrong with him and why he is behaving so. Srithar says he is behaving normal, but the elders are not. Kalyani gets angry and wants Srithar to apologize to his father but Srithar refuses. Kalyani then slaps him, still no apology! Srithar walks away leaving his stunned parents. Rukku who has been watching all this walks away thinking that maybe Srithar knows something about her and Ganapathy and that she must find out! THODARUM.

I think its high time that everyone knows about this clandestine affair of Rukku and Ganapathy. The atmosphere in this household is not smooth sailing as before. Everyone is going thru agony and emotional stress - they have to put a full stop to this nonsense soon.

How long does Rukku/G'pathy intend to cover up their little secret?? Both them were able to hide this for the last 30 odd years and now the children have grown up and the secret has leaked out to 2 of the family members - Jeeva and Sridar. It won't be long before the rest come to know of this too. Where is Rukku going to hide then? is it in the closet? 😳

Her stay in this household has been so carefree but now she has to watch out for everyone's movement to see if there is any slightest doubt in their behaviours - is it all worth the trouble living with this gutless man whom she claims to have married when he is not that there to protect her or give her moral support?? Why is he so afraid to introduce her as his wife to the family??? Does he still want to paint a good picture of himself? I think claiming to be afraid of Kalyani's heart condition is just a mere excuse.

The link between Rukku and Co plus Ethiraj and Co. have yet to zip up....but for how long???.... 😡
