Hey Sunaina you may be surprised but not everyone is as rational as you are...

most people are deeply influenced by the media... they pick up attitudes, prejudices, styles, ways of thinking etc. both consciously and unconsciously...

and cinema and television form a big part of this media...

thats why there are depts of cinema and television studies that try to analyse and understand this influence...

Finally, i think you were one of the few people who took a different stand on the issue of homosexuality... you reminded people that it was considered legal in many countries...
In india, part of the reason why people react negatively to homosexuality is that it is always depicted as funny in indian cinema and tv... it is rarely taken seriously or seen as worthy of serious discussion... this then influences the way people see the issue, though they may not realise that this attitude is coming from the media.

Thanks for remembering my comments on homosexuality. It shows how seriously and deeply you read our posts. In fact I also like the way you put your arguments. I think we could be good friends.

And never think that I have anything personal agaist Gaurav or his fans. I think Abhimanyu is an important character in LRL. But because of his importance he should have been given a much gradual entry into the storyline. These Tv scriptwriters never do their homework porperly.

As for Gaurav, as he himself said in his post, he thinks his best fans also criticise him a lot... so he's always open to criticism.

As for a gradual entry, kya Gaurav ne kabhi kuch gradually kiya hai life mein jo ab karega?!

I am not Gaurav's fan, but this way of commenting about him is really rude, he is very nice humanbeing, coz he gives alots of times to his fans, as well as all others in LRL....

I respect the way that he gave alot of time to his fans to make them feel special....

His character is not a show - off, but it added alots to the serial as well as all others, I agree that he is not the main lead of the serial, coz Rajeev is the main lead, but that doesn't mean to talk bad about him, coz he put alots of efforts to make his fans happy, and that is indeed a very nice, and sweet thing of him to do....

Plz, don't use this way on commenting about him, or any one else, u don't like any one to say bad thing about Rajeev, and I don't even like any one to say bad thing about Rajeev, coz I love him so much, and I am one of his biggest fans, so u have to respect others' feelings too....

In my opinion Gaurav is a very nice person, and humanbeing as he gives a lots of his times to his fans....

As well as I don't like people to say bad things about Rajeev, as well I have to respect other's feelings too....

The way u comment about Gaurav might offend alots of his fans....

We all here are friends, so this kind of posts only creates fights, and problems between members which is not good....

If u don't like Gaurav so don't comment in his topics, I am not his fan, but it's good to have respect for the all the people who make u happy, and LRL is our favourite show, and I respect all the people who put hard work to make the show successfull....

U don't like the character Abhi, but that doesn't mean to make a personal attack on the actor him self....

Plz, avoid writing in this away, as it might hurt alots of his fans....
