PIX OF PRITHVI'S OTHER FORT AT DELHI!!!

hey guys,

this is for ppl who r interested in a bit of history..😳hope i don't bore u guys..last tme i posted taragarh fort's pic..this time it's prithv's delhi fort.-lal kot. or qila rai pithora.check it out..n do tell me ur commnts😳

the info given from the site is-

In the 11th century, Lal Kot, the first city of Delhi was founded by the Tomar ruler Anangpal and ruled up by him. It was unmitigated to Qila Rai Pithora by King Vigraharaja IV (Circa 1153-.64)

built the citadel some 10 kilometres from Suraj Kund around 731. [1] Lal Kot was later used as a grand fort built by Anang Pal Tomar. The kingdom of Delhi was captured by the ChauhanRajputs in the 12th century, and Prithviraj III built massive ramparts around the area and called it Qila Rai Pithora. The ramparts were later demolished by the slave kings and Lal Kot became the site of the first mosque in India, Quwwat-ul-Islam Masjid.

😆 ...Ohh,I have seen it!!!!!!!! I live in Delhi..SO that's how!!!! 😃 😃 ..But even I never knew that it belonged to MY Prithvi!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😳 😳 😳 ..It's a PRETTYYY fort!! Tough,it looks a LI'L better in the pictures then it dus in real life...But yes...It is a IMPRESSIVEE fort!! 😊
