Aditya Pancholi is going to beat up Ranveer in Bajirao Mastani!

His last release was the Harman Baweja-starrer Dishkiyaoon, which sank without a trace. But Aditya Pancholi, the handsome baddie of the 90's is set to make a splash again. If everything goes as planned, the actor will play the villain in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani.

The director-producer has approached Aditya to join the cast of his love story starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

A source reveals, "Bhansali met Aditya in his Juhu office yesterday afternoon. The actor who reached on time for the meeting, did not know the offer Bhansali was about to make. He not only offered Aditya the role, but also conducted a look test on him, complete with wigs, make-up and costumes. The modalities are now being worked out."

Aditya last memorable onscreen turn came three years ago in Dum Maro Dum where he played a druglord. He has since been relegated to small roles in films like Jai Ho and Dishkiyaoon.

Bajirao Mastani, which is currently in the pre-production stage will go on floors this November to meet its 2015 Christmas deadline. Aditya remained unavailable for comment.
