Heropanti will be third highest grossing film with a newcomer / newcomers in the lead role as business should go a little over 50 crore nett. Student Of The Year is best with business of a little under 63 crore nett.
Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai is still the standout of all film featuring newcomers with business of over 43 crore nett in 2000. The Hrithik Roshan starrer is by far the biggest hit in the list followed by the Tusshar Kapoor starrer Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai and Imran Khan starrer Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na..
Interestingly the biggest star of today's generation Ranbir Kapoor started with the worst performer Saawariya. The top grossing films with a new male leads are as follows. .
