What silver medal? Sridevi started before MD. How did she get defeated? And just because Sridevi is child artiste and that does not hold against her in any way.

Jayaprada types came in Bollywood but she could never the kind of success like Sridevi.

You may think MD is the best. But fact is Sridevi is the only pan Indian star out there, first one to do concerts and world tours, first one to have her own entourage, first one to get paid equal to and later more than heroes, first one to have a sequel to her own female oriented film and first one to have a successful comeback! She has redefined stardom and made impact on Bollywood (which is what this topic asks).

Sridevi also overshadowed her heroes be it Chandni, Chaalbaaz or Mr. India, Nagina. Even Jaanbaaz is remembered only due to her song and not for Anil Kapoor/Feroze Khan.

Arjun's actions speak for himself. They do NOT reflect how his father isn't bad or dilute what happened to his mother.

In the same interviews Arjun's "trying to gain sympathy" he has repeatedly talked about his mother and how she brought them up. She raised her kids well and encouraged them to speak to their father.

Looks like SRK is trying to gain sympathy too when he talks about his parents in interviews and same with PC when she talks about her father on Twitter.

Sridevi might be great as an actor and a bigger star compared to Madhuri but she isn't one that has made a bigger impact!

If a girl aspirant of being BW is asked what she wants to become... answer will definitely will be Madhuri Dixit! You all must have seen Rajeev Masand's interview of best actress of last year, everyone said (besides Kangana) that Madhuri was their inspiration.

Likewise, actors especially young brigade are much bigger fan of Madhuri rather than Sridevi!

I think both. Sri started a trend. Her acting skills n dancing skills. , no one can beat her in sadma, lamhe, chandni, chaalbaaz n nageena.

n I m a BG fan of mads, made is a trend setter too. Her style , dance n her expressions. N one can beat her.. Both r on top . :))
