The duo are said to have bonded during the making of their first film together, Aashiqui 2 (2013). There have been many stories about Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur's relationship being a lot more than professional and going beyond even friendship. However, the former has recently denied that there is any truth to the speculation.
Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Kapoor commented, "I am not dating Aditya Roy Kapur. We are just good friends. And I am fond of Vidya Balan (Aditya Roy Kapur's bhabhi). She is a warm person".
After the IIFAs in April, it is thought Kapoor had visited US just to spend time with Roy Kapur, however, she stated very frankly, "No. I had gone only to meet my friends. I didn't even meet him there".
Surprising as these quotes will be, it seems neither Kapoor nor Roy Kapur are in any mood to confirm their relationship status. In fact, they are very happy keeping everyone guessing.
Kapoor's next, Ek Villain' releases on 27th June and features her debut as a playback singer.
