Khatre Mein Masson II

Scene 1

The episode begins with Daya, Sachin, Nikhil and Purvi reaching a bungalow where Abhijeet's mobile phone has been traced. Daya asks Purvi to hide their car somewhere so that Abhijeet doesn't see it and try to escape. Meanwhile, somewhere in the bungalow, we see Abhijeet interacting with Shreya(the kid) to know what has actually been happening. Shreya tells him about her uncle being kidnapped and she being forced to commit heinous crimes. Abhijeet consoles her and promises to help her anyhow. The journalist and the cameraman reach the same spot after following the CID team, but hide outside the bungalow and wait for the officers to come out. She speaks to the kidnapper on phone and assures him to give every detail of the situation. Another set of journalists too, do the same and hide themselves behind a tree. When Daya breaks open a door of one of the rooms only to find Abhijeet and Shreya there, we are shown Abhijeet pointing a gun at Daya and then the journalists hear a gunshot from outside the bungalow. Next they see Abhijeet trying to help Shreya escape and stops Daya from shooting at her. In the confrontation, Abhijeet gets shot by a bullet and the CID team rushes him to the nearest hospital. The journalist informs the kidnapper about the incident and that Shreya has managed to escape.

Scene 2

Shreya reaches the place where the kidnapper used to give her instructions via means of a webcam or so. He orders her to follow his instructions or else he would kill her uncle. This time again, the job was to kill another man. Right then, Abhijeet comes (with his hand in a sling) and tells the man that he would do the task instead of Shreya, to which the kidnapper agrees.

Scene 3

At the jail, a constable brings a drunk man (with his hand in a sling) to his senior. He accuses him to be completely drunk and act like a traffic policeman on the streets and in a way, harasses the public. The senior officer asks the constable to put him behind bars. Obviously, the drunk man was none other than Abhijeet. He notices someone in the cell opposite to the one where he was going to be locked into. After some hours, i.e. after the inmates of the jail had all gone off to sleep, Abhijeet cuts the plaster of his hand and takes out a gun from it. He slowly unlocks his cell and shoots the man opposite to his cell (the gun had a silencer connected to it). He then returns to his cell and acts as if he is off to sleep after hiding the gun in the same place. The other occupant of the cell notices this.

Scene 4

The next morning CID team gets the news of a murder inside a jail. Suddenly, a set of journalists rush into the bureau and tell ACP Pradyuman and his team to take the responsibility of the deaths of innocent lives in the city. CID tells them that the media will be informed as soon as there is any breakthrough in the cases and asks them to leave. Freddy accompanies the journalists till outside the bureau when he suddenly finds an old man trying to enter the bureau as well. Once again, it was Abhijeet in disguise and we get to see a short but funny conversation with Freddy. The old man tells Freddy that he had killed the man inside the jail and so, Freddy takes him inside. When Abhijeet enters bureau, Daya and ACP quickly recognises him and welcomes him with a smile. ACP says that there plan has been working perfectly as of now. Abhijeet explains how Shreya had informed them about the matter long before the kidnapper assigned her tasks to be done. Abhijeet had also given her a pendant with a hidden camera in it, so as to keep an eye on her and the kidnapper's movements. Thus, before the kidnapper could make Shreya kill the people at the party in a bomb blast, the CID team had reached there and had safely evacuated the hall room where the bomb was kept. After the blast, they created the entire scene, with fake bloods, fake dead bodies, etc in order to make the kidnapper feel that his plan has been working well and good. Similarly, the man at the cinema hall and the jail were too saved and were only a drama to let the kidnapper fall into the CID's trap.

CID expects the kidnapper to leave Shreya's uncle now that all his wishes have been fulfilled and then they could easily reach him without any hesitation. Shreya(CID officer) adds that the only thing that went wrong was Abhijeet getting shot in reality to which Abhijeet replies that it's a part and parcel of the job they do and is a very small price to be paid. Daya tells him that he should never ask Daya again to shoot him because its extremely difficult for him to do so. Abhijeet says that one thing he is very sure of- nothing can happen to him by a bullet from Daya's gun! ACP receives a call from Chitrole and leaves. Freddy talks about the coincidence that one of the Shreya is so dear to Abhijeet and another Shreya is dear to Daya. Embarrassed, Daya leaves as well.

Scene 5

Shreya(the kid)'s uncle, Pratik is thrown out of a car. He is injured and taken to a hospital.

Scene 6

Pratik comes to bureau and meets Shreya. Shreya is too happy to see him back. ACP asks Shreya(the officer) to take the kid away from the room as they had something to discuss with Pratik. Once the Shreya-s left, ACP and Daya asks him to describe the man who had kidnapped him. He gives a description according to which a sketch is prepared.

Scene 7

At home, Shreya and her uncle are just done with their dinner. Shreya goes off to sleep, when Pratik receives a video call from the man whose sketch he had prepared. The man asks him to meet him the next day at the fort.

Scene 8

At the fort, Pratik meets the man whose sketch he had prepared at the bureau. The man asks him the reason for lying to CID about him being the kidnapper cos he was not even there in Mumbai when the incident took place. CID team arrives. Abhijeet tells Pratik that the man whose sketch he had prepared was Constable Sanjay. Abhijeet used to send books and gifts for Shreya via Sanjay and thus, Pratik must have seen him a number of times. In a hurry during the interrogation, he described Sanjay to the sketch artist and thus he is caught red handed. Partik was never kidnapped. He himself was the mastermind behind all this. However, Pratik says that the real culprit was Shreya as she was the one to commit all the crimes and thus she must be arrested, not him. Abhijeet explains him how Shreya had informed him about the matter beforehand and thus, none of the crimes have actually been committed at all. On realizing that his plan has completely failed, Pratik takes out his gun and points it towards the CID team. Around the same time, Vandana(the journalist who was helping the kidnapper) brings Shreya at gunpoint and blackmails the team of throwing her off the cliff if they didn't let Pratik leave safely. The CID team put their guns down and Pratik climbs up the cliff and goes to Vandana. Then, Vandana pushes Shreya off the cliff, but Abhijeet rushes to her rescue and saves her. Sachin and Purvi catch the 2 culprits and SLAPPP!!!!!

Scene 9

Confession: Pratik tells them that he had borrowed money from a lot many people but was unable to repay them. Thus, making use of Shreya would not only free him from the people who owed money, but also make him the sole owner of all the property that belonged to Shreya, as she would be arrested for committing the crimes. Vandana who was in love with Pratik, supported him throughout his plan by making use of her channel to constantly keep Pratik updated about CID's movements.

Scene 10

After they were taken away by one of the CID officers, Abhijeet plans of adopting Shreya and taking care of her himself. However, Sachin tells him that it would not be very safe to keep her with him, as the kind of job they have opted for doesn't let them enough scope to take care of a child like Shreya. Abhijeet agrees to it but wonders what could be done. To this, Sachin comes up with a solution. He suggests Abhijeet to adopt Shreya and send her to a boarding school where she would be taken good care of. Abhijeet thanks Sachin for the idea and goes to Shreya to tell her about the decision.

Scene 11

Abhijeet asks Shreya if she would like to be a part of his family, as his daughter to which Shreya readily agrees. An emotional scene takes place where Abhijeet confesses that he loves Shreya the most in this world and would take good care of her always. They hug each other.
