He was standing in the deck, with his hands over the railings, looking at the sea. It was eve. The deck was empty. Someone hugged him from behind and kissed him on his cheeks. He smiled and put his hand behind her and pulled her in the front. She was in-between him and railings. He looked at her angelic face; he caressed them with his hand. She smiled at him, enjoying his touch. "I love you Priya" he said. He hugged him lightly "You're my life now" she replied. He raised her chin and kissed her forehead. He cupped her face and lowered his head; she raised her toes to reach him, their lips inches apart. His lips lightly brushed hers. Her hands found his hair.

BANG..!! BANG..!! BANG...!!

Ram woke up with a start. "God what a dream" he whispered. Someone was banging the door, now he knew what woke him up. He felt annoyed. "Don't I have the rights to dream" he muttered and left to open the door. He opened the door with frustration on Kevin, but to his astonishment. Priya stood there smiling at him, carrying a tray with coffee. She was in a white salwar looking like a queen. That was the first time he saw her in salwar. He looked at her, lost in her beauty. "Good morning" she greeted him. "Ya good morning Priya, come in na" he opened the door for her to enter. She entered with the tray; he closed the door behind them. He saw her hair, which fell like cascades, she looked irresistible. "Err..! Priya where's Kevin?" He asked. She poured the coffee and looked at him."Why shouldn't I have coffee with you" she asked. "Nooo I didn't mean like that, of course you can" he smiled. "Ok now brush your teeth and be back" she ordered. "Yes mam" saying he left to the restroom. He stood in front of the sink and closed his eyes. The dream was maddening him. He longed for it to be true. "Ram what would Priya think if she knows your imaging such things" he scolded himself. He remembered Priya waiting outside and hurried.

Priya set the two cups of coffee in the table and sat in the chair. Her mind was full. There were lots to do today. "Ok today I going to know myself if Ram gives me more importance. If he accepts and come with me, then what Ma told would be right, that I am special to him" she thought to herself and smiled. "Hello madam" Ram called and settled himself opposite to her. He looked like a cute teddy in his white kurta. She smiled seeing him. "What's so funny?" he asked. "Nothing you look sinfully very cute" she replied. He blushed at her compliment "thanks yaar" he replied and sipped his coffee. "Ram any plans today?" she asked. "Whatever you say?" he replied. "Ok so you're sure you will do whatever I say" she asked hiding a grin. "I smell something evil" he replied. "Ok fist tell me what is today" she asked. "Monday" he replied. "err..!! I knew you wouldn't know it. Today is holi" she said smiling. "Oh..!! I don't like it much" he said making a face. "Well I know that Ma told me, but no excuses today you are coming with me, the whole ship is playing" she insisted. He nodded no. "Please Ram. At 11 all are going to play with colour, I would love to play with you" she begged. "Sorry Priya its hard for me to deny to you, but I have no other go. I can't play" he said. She looked at him disappointed. "Fine" she snapped and got up to leave. He sighed as he heard the door bang.

She sat on the bench thinking about their morning convo. She felt dejected. Tears welled her eyes "Priya why do you want to be special to him? Are you in love?" she asked herself. Her heart answered "yes" but her mind said "no"."No I can't be" she told herself firmly ."Aunty" the small boy came running to her. "Hello baby" she said and hugged him. "Come let's play na" he asked. "Aunty is not in mood. I will see you play" she replied. "Please aunty. Please" the boy asked. "Come-on champ, let us play, you will play with me na" a voice called from behind. Priya turned to see Ram looking at her lovingly. He was in a white shirt and white trousers. Tears from her eyes found their ways to her nose. She rubbed them. "Shall we play" Ram asked looking at both of them. "come-on uncle lets go" the boy called. Ram took the boy in one hand and extended the other to Priya "satisfied" he asked. "Thanks" she said and took his hand. "Don't be, you pushed me, I can't see you like this for 3 months so I had to come" he complained. She laughed. They went to the centre where all people where gathered. Ram set the boy on foot. The holi colours were kept in small bowls here and there. Priya took it full in both her hands and Ram followed her. Everybody in the ship including the foreigners was in white, ready to play. All were waiting for the announcement to be given. "Let the game begin" Captain Mark's voice yelled. Priya looked at Ram who was standing near her. He looked at her. "Should I really" he asked. "You are playing" she cut in. She took her hand to his cheeks as he closed his eyes, as if someone was going to feed him poison. Her smooth fingers rubbed his cheeks. He was able to feel her hands on his cheeks; nothing else seemed too mattered him. His hands which where clutched into a fist with the colours released. The colours fell down. His hands found hers, which was on his cheeks. He took her hands and placed it on his chest, his gaze never leaving her. She looked at him stunned. He smiled and rubbed the colour remaining in his hands on her cheeks. She closed in excitement. Soon both of them were drenched in colours. The little Ram came with a water gun splashing colours all over them. First time Ram realized that Holi was a festival to be enjoyed. More than all he felt happy seeing her happy.

After hours of fun, they walked to relax a while. "Thanks a lot Priya" he said. "Well I should thank you, you made feel me special today. Nobody other than my dad has done it till now" she said. He smiled "It's ok. I am your friend Na" he replied. She hugged him, he was little surprised but took her in his arm "you're the best" she whispered. "No senti talks now please" he said and broke the hug. They walked talking about how they celebrate holi at homes. The breeze was so cool and refreshing. "ahhh" Priya shouted lightly. "What are you ok?" he asked turning to her. "Nothing I am fine" she said rubbing her eyes. Her face was full of colour. "Wait wait don't do that" he said taking her hands off her eyes. "Just relax now will you" he said and held her by shoulder. His hands found her face, and he parted her eyelids slowly and blew hot air in it. She clutched his hands. "Just once more you will be fine" he asked and repeated the same. "Now all ok" he asked. She smiled at him and they walked to a bench under a shade. Priya was still able to feel his breath over her face."Priya but why didn't you tell me yesterday it was holi?" he asked bringing her back. "Well. I wanted to tell you in the morning, but" she dragged. "What?" he asked confused. "It was Ma, she told me not to tell you yesterday as you would fake illness and refuse to come." she completed. "Uff. My mom is just unbelievable at times" he said. "You're mom is actually very sweet, I like her a lot. She told me to drag you to the celebration and she also said me that," she looked him. He raised a brow "she told that, I am special to you and you would obey me" she finished and blushed. "So what do you think now? Special or not" he questioned. "You made me feel like I am your everything" she said. "What?" he asked. "Nothing, I meant you made me feel really very special" she managed. "you are" he simply replied. They looked at each other for few minutes, trying to get the real meaning of what each other said. "Shall we leave to change" he asked. she nodded and they made their way to rooms.

It was around 1. Ram was feeling ravenous. He waited for her. He had no clue where she was. Time passed. He got worried. He searched for her. "Sir" Kevin called him. Ram turned to see him "Kevin did you see Priya" he asked. "Sir Mam asked to give this letter to you" he handed a letter. "Oh thanks" Ram opened the letter. It was a short on.

"Program?" he asked Kevin. "Sir we have a small program in the great hall at 6 today" he informed. "Oh. Where did she give you the letter?" he asked. "sir actually she didn't give me. Found it in your room" Kevin answered. "room..!! I was there. ok anyway thanks" Ram said and Kevin left.

The day dragged. Ram was wondering what would be the work that she refused to tell him. Minutes seemed like hours to him. His dream popping up his head now and then. He took a pen and played with it. He felt bored and decided to call his mom. "ma" he said. "Son you seem little upset, all ok" she asked. "Yes ma. All fine. But Priya isn't here, she is on some work and I am bored" he said. his mom burst laughing. "anything funny?" he asked. "son your madly in love" she said laughing. "oh Ma you are mad" he said. "son give her space ok. Now take a nap, you will be ok" she said. "ya mom thanks can you just put me to sleep" he asked. His mother sang a song and dozed off in the couch. He woke up by 5 when Kevin came with evening tea. He chose a brown tux for the party. Very carefully he dressed himself, brushed his hair and left for the great hall on time. He took one table and reserved a seat for her. the program began , his heart sank "is she ok?" he thought. The program seemed to drag. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying a lot, he felt zero interested. Suddenly the whole crowd cheered, he raised to see what was it. The light went off. He thought it must be some dance. A beautiful humming filled the place, the crowd silenced. The voice filled the place, everyone seemed to be lost in the lovely tune. Ram felt himself mesmerized. The lights fell on the centre of the stage and he saw Priya standing there in a golden outfit. He nearly stood up to get a clear view of her. She looked stunning. The tune she hummed seemed to vibrate his heart. As soon as she finished, the music began and some girls joined her. they danced for "Radha" song. Rams head seemed to spin seeing her dance. The way her hip shook, his heart skipped several beats. Soon many people joined the floor. Priya came to him and called him to dance. Ram refused. He wasn't used to dancing like this before. She pulled him by hand and led him. He saw her dancing mesmerized, and forgetting himself ,his legs started moving to match her moves. The way she smiled and she enjoyed the music made him forget everything, everyone around as he wrapped his hands around her waist and danced. She was lost in his charm and didn't resist any of his moves. After sometime they came to the table, hand in hand, laughing. "Enjoyed" she asked him. "A lot. And just because of you" he said. "sorry had to leave for practice all of sudden, so sought Kevin's help. Wanted it to be surprise" she said. " Kevin???" he asked. "ya he was the one who wrote the letter. I told him to write like me and give you, as you didn't know both are writings" she said and smiled. "is he working for me?" Ram asked. She smiled "I am hungry" she said and left to get food, but Kevin came with a bid tray of food. "Hayyee Kevin thats so sweet thank you" she said and they shared a
*Hi5* after he set the food. Ram stared at him "Partner in crime" Ram mouthed. Kevin lowered his gaze. "Kevin don't worry if he scold you tell me, I shall take care" she said. Ram smiled "But remember Kevin I have to pay you" Ram said and they all laughed. "You both will make a perfect match sir" Kevin said. Ram and Priya shared a eye lock and turned their concentration their food.

They made their way to the room "Priya I got nervous when you were not there in the party. I felt something was wrong. I felt worried" he said. "but why?" she asked. "Exactly I dunno why?" he said. She laughed. "Why laughing?" he asked. "Ram when we care for someone its natural to worry" she replied. "but I think that I am little abnormally worried in your case" he said. "yes I am special na" she said. he laughed "no your mad, that why I am worried" he said. "your tired right?" he asked. "Nope I am very happy. So I want to do something tonight" she replied. "Like?" he asked. "Like...!! Watch a late night movie in my room" she said. "Oh" "Are you gonna sleep" she asked. "ha I regularly sleep at 10, but can I join you" he asked. "hahah..!! you are seeing with me, if you wish or not" she said. he smiled. The way she bossed him made him feel that he was hers and he liked the feeling. "Ok Ram then, get something to eat for us, while I select what movie to watch" she said. "Ok I will be back then" he said and turned the other way. After walking Awhile: Priya" he called loud "yeah" he heard her voice. "No science fiction movie please something like romantic comedy" he called. "Sure come soon" she yelled back.

As he made his way to get snacks, he felt crazy, this was the first time he shouted like this "what is happening to me?" he smiled. He felt different, he felt happy, and he felt complete. As she walked she thought of Kevin's words "you both will make a perfect match" she blushed. "Why I feel so much for Kevin's statement to be true" she thought
