Last episode

SAB TV's Jeannie Aur Juju (Eagle Film Productions) shot its last episode today (2 June 2014).

As part of celebrations, the entire cast and crew got together and recalled some of the cherished memories on the show followed by a cake cutting ceremony.

Said Rubina Dilaik aka Jeannie, "My journey with Jeannie Aur Juju was one of the most beautiful experiences of my television career. I got an opportunity to work with a great team and every day of my seven and a half months here, I never felt tired after coming home even after long hours of shoot as the atmosphere was so light with everyone working in team spirit."

Commenting on what the lady plans to do next, she averred, "I now plan a vacation with my family."

We tried contacting the other actors Ali Asgar, Harsh Khurana and Navina Bole but they remained unavailable for comment.

Renowned writer, Amit Aryan who has scripted down many popular shows for SAB TV includingJeannie Aur Juju stated, "It was a very good experience writing for Jeannie Aur Juju and we decided to end the show on a very good note as we tried to give the viewers an out-of-the-box experience with the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood show, I Dream Of Jeannie.

Rather than stretching the concept, which may have become monotonous, we decided to end the show. We are very happy with the way the show fared and clicked with the audience despite the protagonist being replaced."

We phoned producer Sanjay Kohli but he asked us to call back later. The show will air its last episode on 6 June and will be replaced by Badi Dooor Se Aye Hain.
