Kunika Lal has been through a lot in life, with many trials and tribulations which she has tried to put in the back burner for now. But being a single mother is no joke for sure and she has now bounced back with some good work in her kitty. This ravishing lady believes in doing many things at a time and not many know that she likes working for NGO's and is soon going to launch a restaurant called Only Parathas in Chembur.
Here's what she had to say about what her life looks like now..
On launching the restaurant Only Parathas and her social work-
The owner of the restaurant Shekhar Dadarkar is a dear friend of mine and I have known him for quiet sometime now. He helped us rebuilt Pratiksha Nagar School and his restaurant will have one table reserved and the revenue from the table will directly go to Tara Charitable Trust, so 10% of his earnings go into the trust. I am the secretary of an NGO called Chip which works for underpriviledged and hearing impaired children.
On her divorce -
I am just back from the US and the lawyers from both the sides are working at it, so the process is still on as far as my divorce is concerned.
On her future projects-
I am doing K Street Pali Hill now and a film with Deepak Tijori who is my brother-in-law and another serial called Siraj-ud-Daullah and I play Siraj-ud-Daullah's daughter Ghasiti Begum.I shot for the serial many years ago but it was not aired and now I have started shooting for it again for which I will be traveling to Gujrat soon.
Needless to say, this lady has a heart of gold , life's looking beautiful for her and she is raring to go..
