CHAPTER 4

Time flew with Sakshi joining the ETF, her banter with her twin' Shree, occasional glances at Arjun, trying to be the love guru for chotu , bridging the gaps between Samyesha and Shriza also with her being a regular SYS learner. Moreover, she proved herself to be worth as an ETF member, even though Arjun tried his best to throw her out!

Once Chotu commented " Yaar, Sakshi, Arjun sir shaayad utna chai nahi peete..."

"Na re chotu, cutting chai, that too delivered by Sakshi." Shree smiled.

"Shree, Liza ko yaha bulaoon coffee break ke liye?" Sakshi said.

"Nako re Sakshi, bechare uss Liza ke dushmani ke wajah se uske poore baal curly ho gaye, warna toh tere jaise hi uske paas straight baal the! Aur joh main keh raha tha, Ke Arjun sir shaayad utni cutting chai nahi peete jitne SYS sessions tujhe dete hai!" Chotu laughed out.

"Hass Chotu, hass, waise bhi yeh last Sunday hai uske baad Devdas na bangaya toh meri naam Sakshi nahi!" Sakshi proclaimed.

"Kyun, aisa kya hua?" Chotu asked.

"Teri 11.30 na ab kisi 11.00 ko chahne lagi hai, tera toh patta cut gaya!"

"Sakshi!!! Kaun he woh, kyun hua yeh!" Chotu cried out (almost)

"Soch Chotu, tu uski shaadi main jaa raha hai, aur gift bhi de raha hai" Shree joined in.

" Oye Chotu hum mazaak kar rahe the, tu toh shock main chal gaya re!" Sakshi said.

" Arrey, Chotu, tu bhi na, yeh chod aaj maine tere liye Margherita pizza order kiya" Shree said.

"Really Specky, that is so sweet of you! You know ke woh mera favorite hai!" Liza came in with a smile, waise bhi she knows that it's for Chotu but she loves to increase Shree's BP!

"Aagayi Jaani dushman" Shree muttered.

Sakshi smiled seeing this, then she went to Chotu and said " Waise bhi Chotu tu uss 11.00 waale ka naam chahta hai na, toh sun uska naam, Chandrakant Patil hai, ab mere bhai kuch kar taki madam 11.30 ab 24 hours ke liye bas jaaye! Ab ye baat Samjhe ya.."

"Samjhaun? Chotu ko kya samjhaa rahe ho Sakshi ki tumko tumhari apni ki dialogue kam pad gayi aur mera dialogue lena pada?" Arjun asked.

"Arjun!" Deva, this is not fair, iska entry right but timing hamesha ghalat hota hai!' "Kuch nahi Arjun..." Sakshi mumbled, "Mujhe kaam hain, main jaa rahi hoon."

" Congratulations Miss. Sakshi Anand." Arjun said.

"Huh? Kiss baat ke liye?" Sakshi was confused.

"Ke finally tumhe pata chala ke ETF main tum kaam karne aati ho aur pyaar ka pravachan nahi dene!" Arjun sarcastically said.

"Never mind!" Sakshi just gave a glare to Arjun and walked off to her desk.

"Saksi tujhe Guiness World Record ka award chahiye, is Akdu se tu attracted kaise hai! Matlab kaise! ETF main kya karne aayi thi aur kya kar baithi!" Sakshi chided herself.

"Kuch kaha tumne!" Arjun barked

"Nahi" she said and walked out "Is ladka ko yeh bhi pata chalta hai ki main kab apne aap se baat kar rahi hoon! Hay Yeh Ladka hai Allah!" and she went straight to her desk while Arjun smirked at her retreating form.

CHAPTER 5A

Sakshi sat with a thud when she glanced at the calendar above... it was 15th June (random date) and she stiffened... a tsunami of memories came flooding through

Flashback

"Sakku, ab woh photo waapas de!! Arrey Ashi tu khadi khadi kya dekh rahi hai, dekh tu waapas deti hai ya main bhaagoon tere peeche!" A young man shouted at Sakku, yet he failed to hide his smile!

"Kyun bhai! Akhir humein bhi toh dekhne de ki tera khwaab aur sapnon ke rajkumari kaun hai! Bolo bolo kaun hai woh!" Sakku winked mischievously and ran away but Ashi easily caught her and took the photo!

"Lo bhai, pakar liya!" Ashi smiled with a triumph!

"Dekh Sakku isse kehte hai behen! Tum dono ko maine paala, posa, par tune ussi thaali pe chaed kar di jisme tune khaana khaya!" bhai spoke dramatically!

"Bhai ki chamchi!" Sakku scowled at Ashi.

"Exactly bhai toh main abhi yeh pyaari si photo de doongi magar ek shart par!" Ashi winked at Sakku.

Bhai put his hand on his head! "Dono ek hi type ke badmaash ho, main yehi sochu ke tu achanak se sati savitri kasi bani!" he said

"Exactly bhai, jab tu khud ek solid defective piece hai toh hum do behne ke parvarish theek kaise ho sakte hain!" Sakku laughed giving a hi five to Ashi.

"Acha Sakku... sach main bata meri iss job ke peeche kahin main teri aur Ashi ke parvarish main koi laparvaayi toh nahi kar raha hoon na... agar baba hote toh..." bhai's eyes watering

Sakku and Ashi came running to their bhai and hugged him tight, while bhai wrapped his arms around his lovely sisters.

"Bhai... baba, maa, dada, dadi, teacher, doctor, driver, cook, nanny sab kuch toh tu hain... meri God ji bhi tu hain, tujhe pata hain, Gannu ji jalte hai kyunki main tujhe zyaada pyaar karti hoon!" Saying so Sakku planted a small kiss on Bhai's cheek.

"Haan bhai, humaari ghar aur duniya toh wahan hai jahaan tu hain! Aur teri kaam se humhe naaz hai! Hai na Sakku?" Sakku nodded her head

" Aur bhai, lo apni photo, waise bhi... bhabi bohot khubsoorat hain!" Ashi smiled as her bhai's face reddened!

"Bhai haan, par aaj tera b'day hai toh no guessing what we have in store for you!" Sakku smiled.

"Aankhein band!!!" both the girls screamed!

And from the door came in his lovely girlfriend Maya, clad in a simple white anarkali... she slowly touched his face.

"Maya!" he whispered.

"Haan mein!" She laughed!

Sakku and Ashi slowly moved into the other room, obviously they knew about her! Infact they had been chatting with Maya even before their bhai fell for her... dimming the lights of the hall and setting up the candles they gave the couple a bit of privacy, though Sakku couldn't stop peeping from the door!

Maya slowly bent on her knee and held his hand and softly spoke

" Main tumse bohot pyaar karti hoon,

you are the sun of my universe...

meri duniya shuru hoti hai tumse aur khatam hoti hai tumse...

tumhari zindagi hai meri...

sirf tumhe Sakku aur Ashi ki zaroorat hai par mujhe bhi hai...

apni aadhi parivaar poori karne ke liye

Kya tum mujhse shaadi karoge?"

He was speechless... not only wanting to marrying him but also accepting Sakku and Ashi not as responsibility but as family... her life...

Yes he is hers! All he wanted to do was be with her as her husband and his sisters for the rest of his life... bas aur kya chahiye! He loves her with his whole heart... and will continue to do so till his last breath all he wanted to do was thank her!

Maya understood his unspoken words and softly kissed his tears away, he may be a strong man but even he needs to be pampered with love as well, being a father figure to his sisters, the sole breadwinner... it's time she shares half of his responsibility.

She slowly went near his ear and whispered "Don't thank me... tumhare bina mai toh marr.." she couldn't complete her sentence as he removed her glasses and locked his lips with hers, moving in the most beautiful rhythm possible, pinning her to the wall and tightening his grip around her waist...pouring out his love and devotion,

While he slowly discovered her deeper and deeper and her hands automatically went around his neck confirming her love and devotion too...

After some time they reluctantly parted but rested their foreheads together, smiling, when from behind two cheeky voices say

"Bhai aur bhabi, agar kissy ho gayi toh kya hum aa sakte hain!"

"Sakku!" Maya said, blushing furiosly

"Ashi!!!" Bhai growled but with a lingering smile,

Following was a beautiful chase game which ended when finally the four of them sat on the sofa exhausted! Sakku kissed Maya on the cheek and hugged her while Ashi kissed Bhai on the cheek and hugged him and Maya & Bhai locked their hands together creating a big group hug!

"Bhabi, yeh aap ke liye - Naya chashma aur red and purple dupatta!" Ashi and Sakku squealed!

"Arrey, yeh sab khareedne ki kya zaroorat thi?" Maya said, slightly embarrassed

"Toh aap abhi mangni bas yeh simple white anarkali main karengi kya?" Ashi asked

"Aur before aap soche ke mangni? Well tumhara humaare siva koi nahi hai aur humara aapke sivai koi nahi hai... aur humne yeh nahi khareeda... tumhara soon to be patidev iss dupaata ko din raat taak kar dekhte hai!" Sakku excitedly said

"Badmaash!" Bhai twisted Sakku's ear "Bhai chodo na... mummum bachao!"

Gently removing his hand from Sakku's ear Maya said

"Aur Inspector sahab aapke sochne se pehle hi kehdoon ji mummum mai hoon, main Sakku aur Ashi ko bohot pehle se hi jaanti hoon, akhir in dono ko English kaun padate hai?"

Maya laughed giving a hi - 5 to Sakku and Ashi.

" Toh Mrs, aap yeh pehnenge ya main pehnadoon?" Bhai asked naughtily gripping his hand around her waist.

"Bhai hum log abhi bhi yaha hai! Waisi bas dupatta lagaana hai, aap toh aise style main baat kar rahe ho jaise ki kuch aur bhi pehnaoge, Hai na Ashi?" Sakku winked.

Before Bhai could come to kill Sakku, Maya quickly picked up the dupatta and wrapped it around her.

"Bhai, dekh kya rahe ho, ring pehnao na!" Ashi said giving their mother's ring, Bhai looked at her "Haan bhai, maa ki ring hai... mummum ko hi jaana chahiye! Aur mummum, mai kuch nahi sunungi!" Saying so both the sister hugged their little family and it followed by the ring exchange ceremony!

"Sakku chal ek photo lete hai!" Maya exclaimed

While Maya and Sakku ran to take a selfie, the other two laughed over their obsession over photos

Hugging Ashi Bhai thought that in this birthday he got everything he ever wanted, he has a job to be proud about, a fiancee to die for and two lovely sisters, one wacky toh other crazy!

This was the best birthday he ever had...

Who knew that it would be his last...

Flashback ends

"Sakshi! SAKSHI!" Sakshi jerks out of her memory to find Sameer's worried face infront of her.

5 minutes back

"Ok guys, tum log kaam pe lag jayo I'll just get the report from my cabin." saying so Sameer walked off where he heard a sob, quickly he turned towards Sakshi's desk to find her staring at the calendar, tears continuously falling down her eyes, she looked like a lost child.

He always felt a brotherly feel towards Sakshi and he knew from the first day that this girl is very matured, she is the one who cries in rain so as to nobody notices her tears.

He straight marched towards her desk and gently called her, seeing no response he called her again, a bit louder.

Now

" Oh, Sameer, tum yaha kab?" she said while trying to wipe her tears and before she knows it Sameer hugs her and she starts crying.

"Sakshi, kya hum logo ke baaton se tumhe kuch bura laga?" Sameer asked, gently patting her head as if she was a 5 year old child...

"Nahi.. woh kisiki yaad... main nahi.." Sakshi said while choking in between.

"Nahi bataa sakti toh mat batao, par main humesha tumhara saath hoon, jab bhi tumhe kuch kehna hai to mujhe batao... aaj ke baad tum kabhi akele nahi roge, theek hai!" Sameer gently ordered

"Toh tum bhi mere saath roge?" Sakshi asked innocently.

"Arrey nahi pagli, but aaj ke baad tumhe ye khali desk ka sahara nahi lena padega rone ke liye... tumhara Sam bhai hamesha paas hain!" Sameer said with a big smile!

"Sam bhai? Main tumhe aaj se Sam bhai bulaao!" Sakshi asked expectantly.

"Nahi nahi, maine toh Sam bhai aise hi kaha tha, taki tumhari diary mujhe Sam bhai bulaaye!" Sameer said sarcastically.

Sakshi started laughing at that comment!

"Ok Sam bhai, tumhe shaayad report chahiye ga na! Main laati hoo..."

"Rehne do Sakshi, mujhe waise bhi kuch kaam hai apne cabin main, bye!" Sameer smiled and walked back to his cabin.

"Sam bhai...Sam bhai" Sakshi said happily and she again found her cheeks wet, but this time out of happiness, after a long time she got a brother figure,

She composed herself, brushed her hair back, got up and walked straight to the conference hall... unaware of the pair of eyes following her... it was unbelievable to think that she was crying a few minutes back

Arjun was sipping his favorite cutting chai while his attention went outside where Sakshi just sat with a thud!

He so loved giving her the You are a fool' look! When he noticed her looking at the calendar as if she saw a ghost and tears falling down,

It reminded him when he noticed the calendar which was set the day he proposed to Roshni... Sakshi had the same haunted look which shook him...

Is it possible that she has suffered ... why didn't he ever notice? He tried to understand her more when he saw Rathore approaching her and giving her a brotherly hug and consoling her...

Did Rathore know anything about her? His thoughts were interrupted when she started saying Sam bhai! Hmmm... that was nice of Rathore, Arjun knows how Sam behaves, he understands people way better...

"Kash tu mujhe bhi samaj paata Sam... meri ghalti nahi thi...

aaj mujhe sabse zyaada teri dosti ki zaroorat thi aur tune uss dosti ko hi thukraa diya...

maanta hoon gusse wala hoon par main hamesha nadaan aur tu hamesha samajdaar, meri harr bin bole baat toh samaj jaata...

par aaj main har din cheekhta hoon ki woh meri ghalti nahi thi... sikandar zinda hai... tu yeh baat ko kyun nahi maanta Sam... kyun nahi..."

his mind trailed off when he removed his desk to view their childhood photos...

"tu toh janam se damn it! shuru kar diya tha!" he laughed, is eyes watering

"humaare masti ka koi end hi nahi tha!"

"kyun mujhe waapas nahi apnaata Sam?" he sighed

"Kaash main tujhe bhi apna sakta tha RJ... kaash koi saboot mil jaata... kaash tu itna laparwah na hota..." Sameer flicked a tear away as he walked into his cabin.
