As for the story
Paro and Rudra have had sad childhoods.
Paro's parents were killed while Rudra's mum walked out on him and his father.They first meet as kids at a bus depot where while Rudra is crying Paro tosses him her doll to make him smile.
Years later they meet again when Rudra is now a BSD officer and he saves Paro's life from goons.
He has been assigned to go back to his home town and arrest the people behind arms smuggling.
Paro is getting married around the same time not knowing that her groom is part of the arms smuggling ring. The whole marriage has been conducted by a Thakur of the village whom the whole village think of as their protector.
The groom and his people are from across the border so once the marriage is done they are taking the bride across the border with them.
Rudra comes and practically kills the whole of the grooms side.
Paro at that time seeing a gun had fainted and as her groom was trying to take her across he was shot by Rudra before her groom could kill Paro. Paro heard the gunshot and thought Rudra killed her husband.
Rudra arrests Paro thinking she is also part of the gun smuggling ring but after a while even though he doesn't ever say it he knows she is innocent.
Rudra knows the Thakur is out to kill Paro his only witness so he takes her back to his Haveli where we meet his family.
His brings his father back also.
At first Paro is hidden from his family but eventually she is seen and everyone gets told she is Rudra's fiance even though they both hate each other's guts.
When Rudra has been asked a lot of questions on his operation which in the minds of the BSD had gone wrong he is going to be court martialled.
To stop this from happening he agrees to get married to Paro just to get her to break and go against her village people.
In her mind and from what she has been taught since a child BSD are the enemy and her Thakur is their saviour.
So even she agrees for the marriage.
The rituals get to a point to the actual marriage where by that time his aunt (Kaki/Masi) who hates Rudra and his father has got in touch with the Thakur. tells him where the marriage is happening and he could take the girl so long as he kills Rudra.
She has also plan to kill Rudra's father and put the blame on Paro.
On Paro's second marriage Thakur comes takes her away even though Rudra warned her he was going to kill her which she didn't believe.
Paro discover's this on her own and manages to escape the Thakur and goes back to BSD headquarters, reveals the truth and stops Rudra from losing his job.
By then Rudra had already been to the hospital and found out that it was Paro who tried to kill his father according to everyone which he believed.
Paro managed to prove to only a few family members that she was innocent but Rudra didn't believe her.
While being back at the haveli she finds her doll and finally realises that Rudra was whom she belonged to the whole time.
Circumstances involving some photo's got Rudra suspended from his job and in a drunken state he married Paro vowing never to be her's
His father by then had come out of the coma and had gone to pilgrimage.
Along the way we have had Rudra poisoned hence why his hand is limp, Laila Rudra'e ex girlfriend come on the scene to ruin their marriage and also his aunt exposed of wrong doing (she blamed it all on her son).
During all these events have bought Rudra and Paro closer.
Another thing is that Rudra had found his mother who was married to the Thakur.
