CR, he never asked them to follow him to Mumbai..all of them had their selfish reasons to tag along...

They seem to have focussed on that, after AK's death, for some reason or other, the couple be shown conflicting.
But JM is not just shown conflicting. She had a total unbelievable character-change, not just towards Raja but anyone associated with him. (Faguni seems to have been kept as a sop as the only time JM doesn't behave with snobbishness.)
She has been more polite to far worse people who treated her horribly in public. So her sudden rudeness to people who have been comparatively most amicable has been rather plot-convenient.

It's a rather consistently worrying point that for plot-convenience, either the female lead or male lead is scapegoated in this series.
But TRP aunties have an unfortunate trackrecord of forgiving male leads a 1000 things (upto and including murder of the wife's family) and the female leads not even one.
Hope they don't take too long to sort the mess this time, unlike the previous times where their expectation of majority-audience's reaction was starkly opposite to the actuality.

The characterizations of both leads are rather less than inspiring or charming, together or separately.
(And watching their scenes on mute with self-induced momentary amnesia about the story is not the best remedy.)

JM is from Mathura, but is bizarrely shown thinking of Mumbai as home.
She should have had anything but fond reaction - even in the most general 'home representing city' way - of the penthouse home where she should have only bad memories.
The only good memories associated with the place are of with 'Raju', so if she ignores that, she shouldn't want to be in that place at all.
Yeah, Raja would insist that it's theirs, but she should have looked irate about that.

And it wouldn't be solely hers either as Kundra property, except *maybe* after a long fight.
If property is unclaimed for years, government auctions it off to the highest bidder. And Radha never looked back in two decades to know or care about reclaiming it.
JM could definitely fight it out, but would need to pay for the fight for her expensive legacy with money that would be hers only through that expensive legacy.

Like trying to buy back your purse and its contents, but all the money you can rely on is in that purse as its contents.

Just hope that for track-convenience, JM is allowed to change from her suddenly metropolitanly aware new form.
Since they already showed her in a pretty similar hick style to Raja's family, it looks like a repeat that anyone not from a big city must behave like a idiot in the city to make the audience laugh.

On the upside, all the village people are looking more relateable, as the city people - JM and the new lady - have both been shown throughout as inconsiderate, snobbish and elitist boorish.

If someone doesn't look sophisticated, one may apparently disrespect them as if it's a crime in and of itself. And if they react with even a threat to your insults, it's they who are boors?🥱

JM's description of Mumbai to Raja seemed to be of one in some alternate universe. Both law and criminals have been an outstandingly visible facet of the city.
Maybe she might be permitted to give a slightly more realistic description of the city she *has* actually lived in for years.

Might be entertaining to see the reactions of the Kushwaha clan to the knowledge that their supposedly metropolitan bahu - who was shown so plot-conveniently disgusted by unfair rituals - comes from one of the prime ritual-heavy holy places, and was raised in a house smaller but not too different in appearance from the Kushwaha village house.

It's right up there with Raja's sudden extreme hick persona, as if Raju's cosmopolitan diction and technical know-how was jettisoned with restored memory.

So our lead couple are separately suffering from bouts of partial amnesia as best convenient to their personae for the track.

Instead of admiring the female lead, her antecedents are being raised as an implied excuse.
Neither RK nor the previous Madhu were ever known or admired or made excuses for as child of whoever. They sufficed in and of themselves. Padmini and Radha were audience-known for being their children's mothers.
Here, we have been reduced to remembering the female lead's parentage (and if that's disproven, we'll be drowning looking for excuses) so that we may make sense of the persona.
The male lead's parentage is not purportedly the previous lead couple, so at least his characterization doesn't have the scope for that excuse.
Please, CVs, can we have our lead couple as capable in and of themselves?
Not even the previous Madhu was shown seeking to get Balraj Choudhary's millions as his daughter.
Nor was RK's wealth inherited as his father's. Even the studio was inherited as a debt that he himself earned enough to keep.
Leads who raise themselves up are admirable, rather more than if a scenario shows them wanting father's money as a right like they can't earn that much on their own. In real life, they should do the very opposite as pragmatic, but fictionally, it's rather more impressive when kids selfrespectingly set aside their biological-heir rights and reject something they exercised neither wit nor effort in gaining.

Looking forward - not very hopefully or expectantly - to whenever their characters are restored to some degree of memory of his spoken-languages and her home-town actualities.😒

Until then, muting the TV for their nokjhok which seems to have neither head nor tail but just confrontation for the heck of it.
MEIEJ's makers should have a look at serials which have had their lead couples popular for not only months but years without any constant nokjhok - the viewership is lovely even at its dipping points. And those dipping points are increasingly floating out of MEIEJ's reach.
Maybe a sit-down with sponsors to consider the actual massive-viewership garnering-potential of a track before they go into ideas that are reasonably predictable within their first two episodes of failing and what exactly the factors would be that would assuredly cause mass-audience with its decade or two of unvaryingly consistent reactions to switch channels speedily.

Leela, loving all ur msgs lately 👏
well, whatever crap they r trying to dish out, we can only suggest ..

Sr Madhu didn't live with an abuser, she CHANGED him...Jr Madhu wants to RUN AWAY...I don't mind watching a gray heroine, but her actions should be logical and justified..with so much hatred, if one day she starts falling for the SAME person, it will def look lame and forced..

Raja on the other hand , if after taking so much crap from his wife, starts hating him one fine day, again, it will look lame and forced..so change their characterizations FAST..

connect the present story with Rishbala's story...make Jr Madhu find out about her parents and KRK connection...

keep the saas bahu crap to minumum bec. it serves no purpose other than evoking more and more disgust for every character..

again, there is NO positive character , plz bring back Radha and Bittuji or anyone who can knock sense in Jr Madhu's mind..
