I was thinking about a particular serial where the people are so poor and the women have no education. The life of the female was reverted to dancing or being bed partners for the rich men.
The "sindoor" may be Raghav's assured promise for marriage but Kalpi who is a university topper is now reduced to "outside woman". What Raghav just did was send Kalpi to a different hell.
