in the real world, given a situation where the husband and wife have not consummated the marriage, the logical step is anullment. Divorce by mutual consent takes 6 months of being seperated or living apart though in our indian serials, they show this silly situation where the judge asks a could to live together for 6 months and see if they can work out things..divorce by consent takes only 6 months
in EMA, the CVs could also have fleshed out Poo's charcter a bit better and made her see that things wont work and she going guns blazing asking for a divorce so she can make a fresh start and get her own ek mutthi sapna but no, they are trying to make this non actress act out weepy scenes that jar on our nerves (all charcters that comes in between popular actors are NOT hated if they act well, this one cannot act..proof is there everytime she speaks..she just says the lines..in emotional scenes even the directors prefer to show her face briefly and then take long or wide shots)

my take is that their idea of drama and appeasing fans is to give a sindoor marriage..that's about it..the torture of giving us a suffering Poo and a RS who is becoming sorry for Poo (paving the way for a thaw and then to consummation in a moment of weakness etc etc) will continue

So it's almost 4:30am here and I am laying here thinking about what this could all mean. One thing that hit me was that pen scene from when they were kids. Raghav first gave Kalpi the abacus (his heart) then he gives her his pen (possibly marrying her at the mandir), but remember that Pakhi wants that pen and she throw the biggest tantrum until Kamka forces Kalpi to give the pen to Pakhi. Remember, Kamla already asked Kalpi to stay away from Raghav and is giving Pakhi advice on how to win his heart. I think that Pakhi, as understanding as she has been about everything, but Raghav, will snap bc Raghav is all she wants! She won't be negative per se, but she will cry and whine to Dumla Maa about wanting Raghav and how she is his wife legally. Kamla will then give Kalpi all sorts if useless kasams so that her 'real' daughter Pakhi gets what she wants!!! I think I want to vomit just thinking about the possibility of Pakhi and Dumla getting Kalpi out of Raghav's life so Pakhi can have the pen for herself even though it rightfully belongs to Kalpi! Hope I'm completely off on this train of thought...eee
