I will wait till her whole story unfolds.
And even if she did leave her family, I don't think it would be fair to blame the mother alone
The father is equally to blame
It saddens me when women are easily blamed, while the men have it easier
Dilsher also is a bad parent, Rudra himself hasn't been fair to Laila

" Rudra himself hasn't been fair to Laila "!!!!!! You are absoulutly right about that . Laila gave 8 years of her life to him, did not let any man touch her even ( ok fine, Rudra never promised her anything bt he did go to her every night ) so she did deserve a better closure to this relationship. Regarding Mala, I will wait till tonight before I say anything. But as of now she does look like a culprit bcoz a wife can be forgiven, a daughter can be forgiven but NO, a mother can not be forgiven because she fell in love with another man & came bk for her child after a month.

We should wait and watch the further devolpment of the story before judging her deed and character.
We don't know due which circumstances she was forced to act like this
There must be some reason why she left her home, husband and beloved child for whom his mother was everything.

Let's say the story is as it is and there are no secrets to unfold then...Mala left because she was in an unhappy relationship (we know the kind of father Dilsher was and can guess the kind of husband he could have been, especially given his lameness, insecurity and Mala's beauty).
Let's say she fell in love with another man, who was charming and affectionate (as we saw Thakursa in the beginning).

So she decides to take her chances, have a happy and fulfilling life. Is that wrong...should a woman be in a stifling relationship just because society has ruled so...

Regarding the child, she did set her life in order and return for Rudra. What's better, a happy mother and a happy child, or an unhappy mother and a child who is nothing but a responsibility bearing her down?

Motherhood doesn't ordain that a woman can't follow her dreams. Mala is interesting because she tried to do justice to both - her duties as a mother, her dreams as a woman.

The tragedy is that she failed - because we are judging her with the yardstick which says, mother first, wife first, woman? Is there anything separate from those roles?

whatever her reason for leaving is, she was wrong! Maybe by time she should be forgiven but what she did shouldn't be forgotten..
