Where do I start, of course shuru se... but then how do I start? Yeh kahaani bohot unique hai, bohot special...
I thought of starting it in a bollywood way:
"ek ladki thi dewaani si, ek ladke pe woh marthi thi"
But then I thought that this wont really do justice to RaYa's story
So i thought of starting it the clich way:
"Boy meets girl... boy and girl are perfect for each other, they fall in love... etc etc"
but we all know that's not how the story starts, boy doesn't meet girl at first, and when they did meet, falling in love toh dur ki baat thi.
There's no way to tell the story properly... so I thought to just give a summary... and then leave the rest for everyone to reminisce somehow through the next few sections and the games I planned...
Summary of the three years so far...
Yeh kahaan teen saal pehle (real time)/ 23+ saal pehle (reel time) ki kahaani hai...
Ram and Priya, both thought to have gone past the time to find love and get married, however after many hits and misses- they finally met... and how- "Excuse me" with a tap on the shoulder in front of the infamous lift in Sharma's society building. During their pehli mulakaat, they had their pehla jagda... something which now they can't go a day without doing... Due to Natasha's stubbornness to get married... Ram and Priya decided to have a marriage of convenience... a samjautha... which soon turned into friendship, they began to respect each other, feel compassionate... which soon turned into love.
Lekin har kahaani mei twist, har love story mei villain aur har mohabbat ki dastaan mei gham hai... (story drag kaise hoga phir...)
This lead to their first separation:
their love story was paused at a place where we were left thinking, it's too soon... this can't be happening... they only just admitted their feelings and straight away they were separated... Priya was wrongly sent to jail, her sister betrayed her and gave a false statement... which landed Priya in jail for 14 years... while transferring to a different location, Priya's van was in the middle of a landslide... she was given the responsibility of a little girl- Raina. Everyone in KM presumed Priya was no more, as they were mourning her death... Priya took it upon herself to decide to flee the country with Raina to Dubai where she would spend the next 5 years of her life...
5 Years later:
Priya was now a single mother working in a book shop to put food on the table for her and her daughter Pihu... she had a confidant- Kady, with whom she would spend most of her time with... and then It all started again, the hits and misses... Ram meets Pihu- they have some kind of connection, yet... Ram became Pihu's golu uncle- they yearned to meet each other, they always thought about each other... When Priya finally find's out that Ram is in the country... talking to Pihu- she decides that it's time to reveal the truth to Pihu and Ram... but she finds out something that pinches her heart... Ram was married to Ayesha- which made her change her mind... but destiny had another plan for their second pehli mulakaat... their pehli mulakaat- phirse happened as Priya coming back to Mumbai to find Kady... she attends a wedding in the venue where her marriage to Ram happened...
"Golu Uncle- Mumma... Mumma- Golu Unlce"- Ram attended the same wedding, an excited Pihu runs to him and a worried Priya follows her... they bump into each other and the camera goes round and round in circles, capturing the changing expression of Ram and Priya... Happiness, shock, confusion... Anger- unable to handle the situation Ram collapses and is taken to hospital... Pihu finally finds out who her father is... everyone finds out Priya is alive... and the hospital is full of people with mixed emotions... most were happy to see Priya, a few were not... Ayesha argued that Ram is her husband now... but Priya didn't want to leave until she spoke to Ram.
"I hate you Priya" 😲 three words we never wanted to hear, these spoken words sent a shiver down our spines (it actually did for me)... their pehla fight- phirse... Ram argued that now it's Priya's time to suffer, suffer as much as he did the past 5 years without her... it's her time to be alone... which kicked off the custody battle... but at the same time they had to play happy families, and behave like "family no.1" for Pihu's school admission... Ram became jealous of Rajat and Priya's friendship- knowing that Rajat was in love with her... but tried to hide his jealousy!
In the last five years a lot had changed... Vikram and Neha's relationship was on the rocks, and in order to get them back together, Ram and Priya worked as a team... they grew closer and closer again... but of course Ram's ego wouldn't allow him to forgive Priya... they managed to get NeVik back together, and Priya willingly gave Pihu to Ram... but she gets kidnapped 😲 causing Priya to get angry... and she takes her back, Ram decides that he finally wants his family back... and he will sort things out for Kush and Ayesha to live a good life without him being married to her... Ram plans to get Priya back by staging a remarriage of Neha and Vikram- thinking that the wedding events will make Priya and Ram spend more time together
Ram starts to behave nicely with Priya, but now Priya is angry... for various reasons, but Ram's attempt were not in vain as he finally got Priya alone... and after an emotional talk... they "had a moment" 😉... Priya wakes up confused... as she wasn't in her senses the night before... Ram tries to convince her that they didn't do anything wrong and Priya is confused even more...
Again kahaani mei twist, will she stay or will she go... behen ki kushi ke liye, will she go to Duabi, ya pyaar ki kushi ke liye will she stay with Ram?
She decides to stay, telling Ram how much she loves him and how what happened between them is special and sacred... but Ayesha gets hit by a car and pretends to have retrograde amnesia... but there's no stopping Ram- he wants Priya fullstop.. so he gives Ayesha his share of the KI and sets off into the sunset with Priya holding his hand... months later, they are in Jaipur with Pihu... but the road always leads back to home... they come home to Mumbai, they start to work in the same office. Priya faints- and when a woman faints- it only means one thing in BT world- she's pregnant... in Ram's terms "we are pregnant"... Mission KM begins- where Kapoors and Sharmas slyly try to get Ram's share of KI back... they are successful- as it is revealed that Ayesha and Sid got married while they were drunk...
Pyaar ka dushman humesha hota hai... Ayesha plots to reveal Karthik's affair... we witness many things... there's trouble in paradise for Karthik and Nuts, Nuts begins to hate Priya... Karthik and Nuts separate... we witness a plane crash, (Amarnath's bhooth 😲)... thankfully Ram, Priya, Pihu and the baby are safe... but baby? 😲 ek nahi... doh doh bacche Priya ke tummy mei the... she was pregnant with twins...
A while later, Priya gives birth to two baby girls... bhagwan ka naam le rahi thi? Nahi nahi pati ka naam le rahi thi...
8 years later:
the kids are all grown up... Pihu is 16 (somehow 😆)... the twins, Myra and Pari are sweet 8 year old... Ram and Priya keep their love life fresh and alive by roleplaying as Viraj and Malika ... phirse kahaani mei twist aati hai, as there is a baccha party dushman... Varun tries to use Pihu in order to get revenge for his father Ashwin... Varun plans to get naughty with Pihu, but his plan fails when Priya walks in... to save her own back, Pihu lies that Varun was attempting to rape her 😔 Priya picks up a guitar to hit Varun 🤣 but doesn't in the end... Varun is jailed, Ram leaves for London, Priya finds out Pihu lied... but Varun commits suicide just as Priya and Pihu head to the police station to tell the truth...
Priya crashes her car into a tree 😔 Ram turns back and heads home- sees a crowd around the tree but doesn't see Priya...
Saath saal baad
The 2nd separation... Priya has been in a coma for seven years... the kids have grown older... and Juhi is looking after the family... The doctors say that Priya's health is deteriorating... her organs are failing one by one... Pihu wants Ram to marry Juhi, Ram refuses but then soon agrees for Naina's (Juhi's daughter) custody... but as destiny would have it... Ram and Juhi's marriage is halted in between as the lights go off at the mandap... Priya is rushed to hospital... Ram's car and an ambulance carrying organs for Priya have an accident... Rajat comes to claim his right on the "saviour" title, he meets Pihu and then leaves knowing he played a part in helping Ram get to Priya... Priya's bhooth meets Niharika's Bhooth and after much fighting Priya soul manages to get away from NIharika, and come back to Priya's body... Ram runs to Priya... Priya holds Ram's hand and is branded a miraculous case by the doctor... when Priya finally wakes up... she is unable to remember Ram or anything and anyone related, but manages to remember Pihu... for a short time, Priya has memory loss and things are really cute and light hearted for that time... but a while later Priya remembers everything... Pihu is worried that Priya will tell Ram about what happened 7 years ago... but Priya decides to give her daughter a second chance... Priya then finds out about from Juhi that her and Ram were going to get married... after many attempts to say sorry to Priya, she finally forgives him at Pihu's birthday party... Pihu demands Ram to give Sammy to her as a gift but Sammy and Suhani went on a not so suhana safar... Suhani selflessly rejects Sammy forcing him to marry Pihu... everyone is happy... except Juhi who feels left out... she finds out Suhani is pregnant with Sammy's child, and plans for Priya to find out too... filling Pihu's mind with crap, Juhi manages to get Pihu to hate Priya for siding with Sammy- Suhani... Pihu offers an ultimatum to Ram... asking him to choose between her and Priya.
Separation again... for the 3rd time
Priya decides to leave, as she doesn't want Ram to make a decision... and she can't witness Pihu ruining her life by marrying Sammy... months later Priya and Ram are still separated... again, many hits and misses later- they meet again... in an office that Ram newly takes over... becoming Priya's boss... they have many cute, funny and emotional moments while working together... and they secretly love spending time with each other... they keep it a secret from their family members... Ram plans to get Priya alone... so he organises a trip to Delhi where they spend time together "working"... Pihu finds out that they have secretly been meeting and gets angry... but Ram doesn't give up... he is adamant to keep in contact with Priya... he argues that Pihu and Sammy are married and happy... so he can do whatever he want, meet whoever he wants... The journey back to KM begins... Priya is reluctant to go back as Pihu still hates her, but Ram manages to convince her that he will make everything okay... He finally takes Priya home... at Priya's welcome back party- Sammy dies 😲, Ram is blamed and goes to jail... he is given the death sentence... and alas we are in the present time... Priya is trying to find the real culprit... Pihu and Priya patch up... and we find out that what happened 7 years ago wasn't an accident 😲😲... Juhi planned to kill Priya by tampering with the brakes in her car, instead Priya slipped into a coma- and Juhi was able to manipulate Pihu during that time... we also find out that this was Juhi's plan with Rajiv... to get property and money from Ram... Priya, Nuts, Sid and Mamaji overhear Juhi's confession, Pihu also finds out... and we now know the real murderer is none other than Suhani 😲
3 years/ 23 years later... Ram & Priya phirse ek saath honge... kyunki Ram aur Priya saath mei Bade Acche Lagte Hai
