Good point foodloverđŸ‘đŸŒ. At the end of the day any type of marriage can end up being apavitra whether it's a love marriage or not a love marriage. Heck there are people who have had love marriages who were so in love eachother when they got married but at least one of the spouses ends up cheating 😕. It's for reasons like this which have to w/why I don't give much of a crap in regards to how two people get married to eachother when viewing serials. Some people are mainly onto seeing one or two types of marriages on these shows but to me pretty much any type marriage goes. For me, it's more about how the two people deal w/their marriage post-marriage when it comes to passion, love, trust, commitment, & respect regardless of how they got married.

I am glad you share the same opinion as me, because the term pavitra rishta is tarnished on this show for sure. Exactly even I have seen marriages fall apart because the spouses are cheating, heck even couple with teen kids are falling apart. So when PR is mentioned i feel like laughing because marriages now a days are crumbling apart at jet speed. If a couple truly loves each other and marries I find it more acceptable then parents forcing their choice; and I don't mean to say arranged marriages dont work, it works the best but the two individual needs to be strong enough to hold that bond. At the end of the day society will never be happy how much ever traditional and sanskaari you are, they will keep on demanding more so its better to please yourself and your parents.

Had the show truly developed the story of Pari and Naren's love, a lot of viewers may think differently. More may root for Pari and Naren. I will admit, I am one of them. Because I saw the love grow/happen between Naren and Ankita, I want those two to be together. However, the story is quite similar to ArVi's story, albeit is also different.

What we've been discussing is reminding me of what's goin' on in "Ek Mutthi Aasmaan" as well as "Pavitra Rishta". I don't know if u watch EMA by the way but I have quite contrasting opinions w/PR & EMA 😆.

Anyways, society can be quite a pain in the behind I agree. I live in the US but even Indian people living here can have a hard time finding a their future wife/husband because like in India, people have their expectations, especially other Indian people livin' in the US are hesitant when it comes to marrying someone who is less educated, is a divorcee, or is already a parent, etc. If only society would be more open-minded but asking for this is asking for too much 😆. I think when it comes to getting married, a lot of it has to do w/preference. Even nowdays, some people don't mind not having a love marriage & nothing is wrong w/that. For me, I would prefer a love marriage for myself but I am not into the online stuff that some people do nowadays w/matrimonial sites. I guess I am a bit old fashioned that way😆.

^^ no i don't watch EMA but I know the story since many of my friends do watch it. Yes personally I feel society needs to be more open-minded regarding marriage and stuff, but yeah thats like too much to ask for.
Online shaadi stuff is annoying, and many people are getting hooked on such sites which I find quite illogical and questionable. In UK the young generation meet up on facebook and break up on facebook, ermmm I seriously don't get what to think of such things. And I am from old school too, believe in arranged marriage more but the process is different in my family it's not forced on us at all and it is more of a choice what process you want as long as you are happy in the marriage. If arranged marriage keeps you happy go for it and if love marriage keeps you happy go for it then.
