That is my favoritest JW scene. Any other actor would have made a kachra of that scene, turned it into some tawdry, cheap, two bitty emotional garbage. It took real skill to carry that scene, run with it, and put it into a class by itself. I watched that scene despite not wanting to. I love his acting in this scene more than I do in the talking to unborn child. I too cried buckets 😭

I agree with the two of you. I used to love the scene where he spoke to his unborn child, the anguish and pain of losing Bani was so well done. But the scene where he begs for Bani's life was a class apart. I know many on this forum felt that day was the nadir of JW's character but i feel RK ably portrayed a man helplessly bound by his immense love for his wife. Kudos to him for pulling it off. Also liked the Jan 11th scene where he comes to WM and spews venom at Bani, trying to get her out of her stupor. All in all he's a fab actor, one of the few redeeming factors of KS nowadays.
