Episode begins with Bhima saying that they should organise protection for the women in Virat, in case Duryodhan sends someone to harm them. Draupadi enters the sabha and says there is no need for this as the women will also stay with them in their camps in the battlefield. Draupadi tells Bhima that when he kills Duryodhan's brothers, Draupadi's presence will remind Duryodhan that he is being punished.
Next we see Duruodhan practising with his mace. He knocks off the head of a statue and says this is the way he will kill Krishna. Karna arrives but Duryodhan asks what kind of friend he is to have taken Krishna's side in the sabha. Karns denies forsaking Duryodhan and promises him that he himself will die before Duryodhan. Shakuni arrives that says that they must leave for battle. Shakuni tells Duryodhan that victory is waiting for him.
Bhishma in battle armour is standing in the middle of Hastinapur's sabha. He looks at the throne and remembers the vow he made to Satyavati and Dhritrashta. He folds his hands at the throne and then Vidhur arrives. Bhishma says he tried his utmost to keep the throne pure but it was sullied in front of his own eyes. Bhishma says he knows without him, Dueryodhan would never be able to challenge the Pandavas. Vidhur consoles him saying that he only tried to fulfil his dharma. Bhishma says he is sure that Yudhishtir will rule the kingdom with dharma, but he sadly won't be around to see it. Bhishma says he is standing in front of the throne for the last time. Vidhur asks about his boon to choose his time of death. Bhishma says he must fight until the cause of his death doesn't come in front of him. Bhishma is happy that the one shakti that can defeat him is on the side of the Pandavas.
Pandavas and their allies are ready to leave at the gates of Virat. Draupadi does a vijay tilak on her sons. Then she does the same to her husbands. Abhimanyu tells Yudhishtir that the army is ready to move out. He says he and his brothers, along with Uttar are ready for their orders. Yudhi says once they select a Senapati then they will be given orders. King Virat says you must have selected Bhima for Senapati right? Yudhishtir says no, the Kaurava Senapati is Bhishma, and theirs must be someone who can manage to make him weapon-less. He points and the Pandavas turn to look at Shikhandini. Draupadi smiles and does a vijay tilak on her sister Shikhandini. Shikhandini shouts the war cry 'Har Har Mahadev' and the army follows the chant.
In Hastinapur Duryodhan and his brothers come to meet Dhrit and Gandhari (in the room with 100 diyas) 😆 They seek their blessings but Dhrit says he is afraid for Duryodhan's defeat. He blesses him that his fighting skills are unparalleled. Duryodhan asks for Gandhari's blessing but she is very worried. She tells all her sons to look after each other in the war. She asks for Duryodhan's forgiveness as she took her vow to blindfold herself without giving a thought to the future. She tells him that stubbornness and vows are the path to sadness. Gandhadri blesses her sons and they leave. Dhrit and Gandhari are left alone crying.
In the battlefield, Krishna sees both armies approaching. Krishna greets everyone and says the reason to call them all here was to inform them how pure this place is. Lord Parshuram had rid the Earth of Kshatriyas in this place and created 5 rivers of blood. Krishna says that Lord Indra had promised the founder of the Kuru family that whoever died in this place would attain Heaven. Bhishma asks Krishna to select an auspicious day to start the war, but Krishna says his sakhi Draupadi has already done this. He says in 3 days the war will begin.
Precap: Shikhandini says that Bhishma has promised that whenever he sees her in the battlefield he will put down his weapons. Shakuni asks with what right are you here. Shikhandini says she is Pandava army's Senapati.
