The new trailer of Mohit Suri's film Ek Villain has quite a few similarities to the promo of the Korean film I Saw The Devil. Mohit's film stars actors Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. When contacted, Mohit, who has been inundated with calls regarding the same, clarified, "That's just one dialogue that I have taken from the Korean film's promo, just like I have taken another dialogue from the film Jack Reacher.

The two stories are not similar, as the characters come from two completely different worlds. I don't get the confusion around it. I don't know why people are calling me to clarify." He further added, "I wasn't born with dialogues in my head and I have been inspired by the films I have watched and the books I have read."

Mohit Suri's Awarapan was loosely based on the South Korean film A Bittersweet Life and Murder 2 took the same plot as The Chaser, another South Korean film. I have seen I Saw The Devil, EV seems like a direct rip off of that film from its trailer, only that the love story is more lengthy in EV.

Quite sad actually, the afore mentioned films are two of my favourite Bollywood films, not just because of the story Suri has blatantly ripped off, but also the treatment Suri has given to the films himself. He is one talented guy, but he needs to give credit where due.

Mohit seems to watch every SK movie and then lift those up in BW, nice strategy man😆, because most of the filmmakers show more interest in copying HW movies..

Chaser was one depressing movie. Haven't seen i Saw Devil since I heard its the goriest. Old Boy was disturbing enough.

i don't get whats the big deal? I don't see anyone complaining about south remakes and that Bang Bang is a remake of Knight day as well?

Setting a ditto story in India instead of South Korea doesn't make it original. 😆

whats the big deal in this???

when the actors and actress are deffirent music is deffirent

why the f**k people care about it

i would watch this because its looking awesome the actors expression hard work is enough to watch a movie
