Qubool Hai | Sanam and Badi Ammi Face-off

Shalini Kapoor is an amazing actor with her 100% put into each and every scene. What is even more amazing is the way both she and Surbhi Jyoti enhance a scene. We bring making of a portion of a scene that was a face-off between Badi Ammi and Sanam. Sanam Ahmed Khan has taken her responsibility to a level where her personal happiness takes not just a second place but perhaps third or fourth. While Badi Ammi has seen a lot of life be it through the hands of her husband, Raashid Ahmed Khan or having lost her son and daughter in law and daughter in one go. She harbours with her pain that knows no bounds and perhaps that is what has led to her illness.

This particular scene is only a small aspect of how both Surbhi Jyoti and Shalini Kapoor manifest their characters through their performances and of course what else you can see is their on-screen and off-screen chemistry. Being friends makes a scene that much more electric. Add to this, Lalit Mohan who becomes the wind beneath their wings, giving them a direction that takes them higher.

In this segment, you also see how a scene is shot not in isolation but keeping in mind the mood and tone of the scene prior to this and post this. As shooting happens in order of best combination of time, location and artists' availability, scenes that have high voltage emotions in them need special consideration so as to not lose the thread of entire episode.
