I wonder if it is AD's machinations or Jai's ineffectiveness/helplessness that is really destroying the family. Five long years have gone by. Did the guy do anything to clear his dear "presumed dead" wife's name in those five years? Forget the wife. Did he do anything to avenge his own humiliation? Nothing!!! Zilch!!!

The guy has fallen on his knees before that monster, he has been drugged and molested by that rapist, he has been destroyed by her and yet watch/hear the expressions, both verbal and non verbal --- even the body language is a defeated man's posture.

IMO, if it is anyone who is destroying the show, it is (1) Pia's characterization for the monster that she is and (2) JW's characterization of being a completely helpless victim. That RC is a third rate actor, adds to our woes. Someone said in another thread that while they are no fan of RC's acting skills, there are worse actors in the show. I think there are none who are such central stage.

I too don't want a AD/DDG alliance. Although, in the current track I prefer his characteization to JW's, like you said, I see no reason for him to get hooked up with Bani. Also, if they have to show a triangle, I would much rather see a JW/BW/AD triangle over a JW/Pia/BW triangle which is what we have been fed since last October.

I like the concept of the character of AD but am very dissapointed with the way the creatives have decided to potray him. No egositic, eccentric businessman acts like that. I feel that they have given the character a lot of stylization but no substance. I think that is the reason a lot of people are not connected with the character. I mean RR is a good actor and I have seen what he can do. Rishab Bajaj is fantastic. He too had negative shades but the chracterization was impactful.

If I look at the AD character what has he really done. For a man who has planned revege for 20 years and prepared bani for 5, he has done absolutely nothing in over 6 weeks of the show. Piano playing and kickboxing is all fine but where is it all going. I am frankly tired of the hand gestures and the ridiculous dialouges. As for his characterization he has all the advantage of being the unknown. He can launch a massive attackk on WI, do a number of things. Instead we have him hitting a man with a car, kidnapping children and mothing dialouges.

For my RR dose I would much rather go watch old Kasauti videos.

True, AD sometimes appears flambuoyant and overstated but I honestly feel that at the moment AD is not central to the story. It is not at the point of AD's entry that the audience became disillusioned with KS. We were dissatisfied with the story since much before AD's entry and will remain so until JW wins against Pia.

You would expect a successful entrepreneur to have a bagful of honest and dishonest tricks up his sleeve. You would expect him to avenge his humiliation. Not so! I am frankly tired of JW's helplessness and found AD's interaction with Pia quite soothing for my frazzled nerves 😆 😆 😆 .

Completley agree with you Abha😃,

AD is not th ecentral character of the story at all and we were unhappy with the storyline much before his entry.

Our dissatisfaction started with Pia 😡and the whole ONS fiasco🤢 which kept on getting worse and worse adn I too am sick and tired of the way JW is protrayed.

Pia has even been able to take her revenge both against Bani and Rano for their slaps 😭 😭 😭 in a respectably short time. I hated her dialogues to Bani but have to admit they were pretty crisp. Something about mera naam yaad rakhna "Pia, Pia Walia".

I have canceled my Zee and usually watch very selective episodes of KS on my computer screen. Today was a first for me in that for the first time I forwarded a JW scene (when he is crying) 😭 . I love to see PD's and RK's acting but today I also forwarded the jail scene with the three witches. I can't stand to see Pia except when she is with AD who knows exactly how to treat her.

Don't get me started on what they have done to JW. I see no point to it. I think they have downplayed/butchered JW's character moreso than since the leap to establish AD. I think the track would have been much more interesting with Jai, Bani and AD being strong. The cat and mouse game would have been more fun. Right now as they have potrayed both Jai and Bani, I feel they have been reduced to mere props. One is burning pictures and other is being manipulated by Pia.

I also would have found AD interesting if his OTT act did not turn me off so much. Who talks like that?
