I know viewers are not happy with Raghav-Paakhi's marriage in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan - Shirina Singh

Actress Shirina Singh is grateful to the team of DJ's - A Creative Unit for giving her the chance to portray a character like Paakhi in Zee TV's Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. The girl from Delhi is all the more excited to play this role, as this is her very first show on TV.

The girl came to Mumbai from Delhi two years back. After doing quite a lot of modelling assignments in Delhi, the girl reached the City of Dreams with an aspiration to become an actor. And after auditioning for many a TV shows,Ek Mutthi Aasmaan happened to her.

Talking about her association with Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, Shirina told Tellychakkar.com, "We are a happy family even off the screen. I have such wonderful actors to work with, that I feel blessed. I can proudly say today, that I have found my family being away from my family. Every senior actor on the set is very helpful. I get to learn so much from Shilpaji (Shirodkar) and Aashish Chuadhary. Mohit Dagga too is so helpful and nice. I took up this show as the story is very fascinating, something different from what we usually watch on TV."

Speaking about the recent twist in the tale that has put Paakhi in a tight spot, the actress said, "Earlier, Paakhi was such a bubbly and happy character. But now, the girl's life has changed in no time. She is now married to Raghav (Aashish Chaudhary), but she very well knows that her husband does not love her, and has married her to seek revenge from her parents. This is a tough spot for any girl to be in. Her sole support system in this gloomy phase happens to be Kamla maa. Let us see how this intense tale proceeds."

When asked about the audiences' outburst and anger to Raghav-Kalpi (Rachana Parulkar) wedding not happening in the show, the girl sportingly stated, "Yes, I am very well aware that viewers are not happy with the twist that has taken place. I have been getting mails and messages asking me to get the loved pair united again, by moving out of their way. I would only want to tell the viewers that writers know the story better than anyone else. They surely have a certain story in mind, and hence this twist has happened. Guess one needs to wait and watch with patience."

The best thing that has happened to Shirina from the show is her cute off-screen bonding with actress Tuhina Vohra who plays her mother on the show. "Initially, I used to be very scared of working with Tuhina. But now, we are the best of buddies on the set. She happens to be my closest friend in Mumbai. I respect Shilpaji and Aashish for sure, but a special mention ought to go out to Tuhina. Even though we hate each other on screen, we share a very beautiful relationship off it."

On a parting note, Shirina appealed to the fans of the show by saying, "I want to tell you all to not get disappointed. There are some amazing twists coming ahead. I understand that one tends to get very emotional once you have gotten into the serial. There is always a notion that the show is part of your life. But this is nothing but a TV show, and there is a certain need for drama. So I would request all to support us and watch us as always."

I hope you are not mad at me for posting this article. It's not my fault that it's an interview with Shirini.

Also, I like Rachana, but I wonder if it's her that doesn't want to do the interviews, articles, etc. Even in Saloni, she never had an interview. Maybe that is her nature??? I also noticed that she rarely is on her social media sites. Sure she stated that she lost her password, but even after, she is rarely on.

Let's not hate Shirini for that. Also, just because we don't like the fact that the character Pakhi married Raghav, it's not the real life Shirini.
