FINE !!! 😡 😡

I'm powerful, yet made more so by Harry...

( House elfs have powerful magic & Harry set Dobby free)

always remaining loyal to fight his quarry.

( Dobby was a potter fan n used accidentally slip a lot of information for Harry's benefit)

Instrumental in wiping out the darkest dark,

(Saved harry n friends when they were in right spot at Malfoy Mansion)

unfortunately a part too in nox-ing the brightest spark.

(Dobby accidentally did harm Harry at the quiddich match)

I sadly unfurled a trap,

( I dont know what unfurl means..does it mean create ? ..or accidentally let the plot b known??... dobby may or may not fit here)

when a beloved was killed in a zap.

( dobby doesn't fit here)

I did knock out the pretentious,

by the unsung hero, undoubtedly audacious!

( dont know what any of this means)

There!!!.. now..happy??..😡 Would u stop being such an explanation seeker??..😡

Next guess

Dumbledore..henceforth no explanations shall b provided..😆

Ans: Fruit bowl Painting/Hogwarts Kitchen entrance

I look quite ordinary

For something from magical world

It appears quite normal like any other painting

I'm also quite symbolic

Considering what I represent

The fruit bowl represents food so its symbolic to use it as a disguise for the kitchen entrance

I'm something in disguise

I change into something else

And open a whole new world

Once you discover my secret.

When you tickle the pear in the painting,it transforms into a door knob which open right into the kitchens

Two pranksters and a witch

Were first among students

Who found out my secret

Fred and George first found about the entry possibly with the help of Marauder's map and they passed the information to Hermione who later later led Harry and Ron to the same place

You might find the likes of me

In the world of non-magic folks

But it don't serve the purpose I do

Well you might find many such paintings in muggle world but no one would expect them to open up to elsewhere !

but its the wrong answer budd... as it doesnt fit in the lines u marked unfit..

unfurl means to reveal..

and malfoys/death eaters werent the darkest dark...also harry is never the brightest spark..bright spark maybe but not brightest...

Dumbledore is also incorrect...ahmmm e--e--e--x-x--p--p--l--...better i leave it incomplete.. 🤣

I thought u were going to support ur guesses with ur "line of thoughts"..

I dont mean to b rude but I have to say this..ur problem as a riddle maker is that u fail to c beyond what u feel u have written.. when somebody posts a guess I suggest u open up ur mind, go through ur riddle again n c 4 urself what it must b in ur riddle ( perhaps a line) that made the guessers come up with such guesses.. demanding an explanation is quite rude & is rooted in ur narrow mindednessas a riddle maker.. when u posted wrong answers 4 my riddles, did I not justify ur wrong answers myself?.. just bcoz u know the right answer, u fail to connect with other possible perspectives..that's ur problem..work on that!...

He isn't trying to be rude or insulting. It's just
1)to see why someone would reach another conclusion, as it might lead to further clues or corrections to be made in the riddle, so as to avoid the confusion.
2)he worked so hard at making a riddle, so before saying 'yes, you guessed right', he might wish to know if his clues actually were used, or if it was just a simple shot in the dark!
Don't give the explanation, theek hai?

well thnks for being honest...

do the others feel the same about me being "narrow minded"?

the reason i ask for explanation is to EXACTLY know how the riddle answer person is thinking and then correct it...look at my post above for u...else how else to know what the person is thinking...that's how we old members played the game earlier...

but its ok no qualms...i'll do as it suits u n others...all have diff perceptions...so its perfectly ok man 😊
