Divi,
There are a few books that qualify as a collector's edition. Yesterday's episode qualified for such a category among TV shows.
There wasn't much progress story-wise; more of it was left for viewer's deduction.
I loved the comfort the couple (JaJo) shared. They were content with each other. The nok-jhoks weren't forced, were flirtatious and without any malice. There was a lot of physical camaraderie without any awkwardness. Lovet it!
Loved how he said, he got ready to match her beauty. Macho men, go take a dive, here's a dude who's as bada** as they come, but still dresses for his wife. (About his dresses, I think, they took Adham Khan's measurements for it, wonder why you didn't notice his low-waist kamarbandhs? Our Shahenshah is a hipster.)
I think he was angry on Shehnaaz, because, she had soiled his dress, just minutes after his azzez biwi had complimented him.
Some time back I had called Jallu Mughal trampoline, meant to break every beghum's fall, I change this; he's been entrusted with the holy duty of catching any and every falling/flying female in Agra. I mentally laughed at the Mughal jail officers who tried to make a hammock out of tiny Zakira. I have doubts regarding her resurfacing at this point in time though.
Caveman prediction #1000 - I think (based on Jallu & Shehnaaz's word these past few days), it's not Shehnaaz's husband but, father who's been held captive. As Jallu said, his father used the place as a hide-out during emergencies, and this was known only to him and his khaas people, I think, during some emergency, some important "person", went to the hide-out, but lost his daughter at that time. It affected his psyche, and he's completely lost his senses, and probably keeps his daughter's doll and assumes it's her, which was burnt by Maham. I am still clueless as to who could have such a power as to overthrow a reigning king, as far as I know, at this point in time, all Humayun's brothers were dead, and all were younger than Humayun, and Jalaal was Humayun's first-born. Even Babur's half-brother was long dead. This might have also been Shehnaaz's motive in trying to harm Rahim, as until Jalaal has a son himself; Rahim is the heir-apparent to the throne. Shehnaaz, estranged from her father, may have been moving around acting crazy to save her modesty. When she met Jodha in Mathura and realized who she was, attached herself to Jo like a leech. I am still stumped on the identity of Maham's hostage. Maybe I should hound Abhay.đ
I wanted to slap Shareefuddin with all force I could summon, when I saw the way he was looking at Jodha. Ewww.đĄđ¤Ź Wish Jalaal had seen it.
Hamida! Where did you get those crowns? Ok, Jodha's looks like the ones Mumtaz Mahal wore, but what about Jalaal's? RT should get an award for being a good sport and wearing that hideous thing.
Precap, uske dupatte ke chaahne se kya hoga Jalaal? Jab tak Shehnaaz aur Ruqaiyya hain, tumhare sharaarat ki gaadi station nahi chhodnewali.
Awesome episode!đâşď¸
