Epilogue

Soon the date of our marriage was fixed. The next month was too hard for me, as on pretext of marriage arrangements Geet left the job.

She for the last 3 months had become a habit; I daily called her as much as I could.

One day nearly a week since she left, I was engrossed in her thoughts not concentrating on my work, there was a knock and I said, "Come in"

And I wanted to jump with joy seeing her, she entered the cabin and locked the door putting on the do not disturb sign, then closed all the blinds and came near me.

My heart was thudding and I was expecting a kiss from her, but when she came near me she wacked my shoulder and shouted, "What is this Maan? What do you want from me?"

I looked at her puzzled and then gathering my guts trying to lighten her mood I said, "May be a kiss"

She frowned, "this is not happening Maan, you are behaving like a love sick puppy. We will get married in next 3 weeks, and here instead of completing your work before hand to make way for a long honeymoon you are piling your files, increasing your workload. Are you not interested in taking vacation and going for a long honeymoon with me, or do you plan to work even after our marriage. Here I was thinking that we will go somewhere far for 2-3 months and enjoy being alone, but you have other plans. Maan what is this with you"

She was talking nonstop, and as I absorbed what she was saying I was taken up with her planning, she is right I should pace up the work and take a long leave, instead of thinking about her now, I should spend time alone once we get married.

I pulled her and made her sit on my lap she frowned I cupped her face and said, "you are always right, I warned you what a fool I am, ok I will complete my work, your wish is my command, be sure we will go for a long honeymoon, and explore places we never did"

She caught the hint of passion in my voice and blushed.

I could no more resist and kissed her insane.

Later I started completing my work and worked hard keeping in mind my health constraints and by the time our sangeet day I arrived I was on leave for 3 months.

We went to our honeymoon and explored things unknown to us before.

When we returned after 3 months she was blooming.

After a week of our return she started feeling dizzy, doctor was called and we were informed about the arrival of a new member.

I took good care of her, my parents and Annie were very happy.

On our 1^st wedding anniversary Geet gifted us with healthy twins a girl and a boy

Not to mention but we lived happily ever after, if Geet would not have made efforts we would nave r have been one.

All thanks to her to make my life happy.

Hope you all liked my story and will definitely hit the like tab and write comments, though his epilogue comes in too late after 1 year and 5 months. But better late then never.
