@Krishna was and is a path-breaker for his system, as I said , they all initiated changes in the social structure .
Krishna made the system more free, accepting and humane, he lowered the standards of perfection and righteousness. He created the MB illusion to mock the old social institutions and it's principles. I feel the reason why he is so immensely popular is because somewhere he broke through the social strata, he was people's man , one of their own. More than feeling reverence to him, people love and adore him. There is more closeness.
@ If Vibhishan didn't have social discomfort from his kingdom then why is his actions judged so much. is it the present era ,where family ties are taken for granted that they reacts to his betrayal so strongly?
