We actually need to wait for the track to play out before judging that the characters have been butchered.
I am looking forward to the track personally :-). It gives me good positive vibes.
It may give a closure to Barkat's track.. but Cvs need some time for it. There are many loops left to close.
And even I don't think that zain is acting blind or his smartness has worn-off. He is a brother and why would he doubt his found-after-ages-sister?
Had I been in his place, I would have behaved in the same way. Besides, Barkat acts all sweet before him and he has not yet witnessed any situation where he can actually doubt her. He is not seeing anything in a suspicious way like Aliya is.
Aliya herself believed completely in Barkat, until she saw her expressions in the mirror.
She has started seeing all of things in a li'l different perspective. Only someone who is not emotionally very attached to Barkat may understand what real barkat is, apart from Aliya. Rest all are 'blinded by her love'
Hence, Zubair was brought in.
