Vittal Kamla Puppet

I can't understand why Vittal can't be the man of his house and tell Kamla not to have any interference with the Kapoor he always tell her not to do something and then in the long run she pull his string and he start giving in to her stupidity, Vittal just be Kamla man and not her puppet
