TOGETHER FOREVER
" Love to me is unconditional and most importantly trust. You just cannot judge me this way, Randhir! " said Sanyukta looking straight into the eyes of an expressionless Randhir.
" For me everybody is equal. Me spending some time with someone and cracking up a bit doesn't mean that the person is special.. You know you are.. " stopped Sanyukta as her voice broke.
Randhir lifted his gaze only to lower it again not able to take her tears.
" And you cannot name this as a change in priorties.. It hurts Randhir! "
" And after that day in the lab, after coming this far with you in our relation.. I can't even call you important.. "
She was satisfied now to find a question mark on his face.
" Because.. Because, important is just not enough.. Infact.. Nothing is just enough.. I.. ca..can.. never.. fit you.. and.. my.. lo..love.. towards you in any of the words.. "
Sanyukta had a lot to say. She always thought that atleast he, her Randhir would understand her.
But here she was trying to justify her actions..
She turned away from him trying to cry out all the dumb words, deaf wishes and blind hopes.
It took some time for Randhir to re-think. His ego wouldn't let him feel guilty like this. Neither could he stand action-less looking at her cry.
For him, he was always right but this time strangely, he felt like she wasn't wrong. He wanted to explain but not apologise. They never did apologise to each other. Ego stops them from doing so! Or maybe they understand each other so well that they never felt the need to apologise!
He stood right behind her. Watching her struggle with invisible troubles never felt good. He could do anything to erase them all out of her life. So what was he waiting for ?
His fingers moved forward to touch her. His lips parted, said " Sanyuk.." and stopped.
But Sanyukta could sense his difficulty.
" Above all these materialistic things, our fights, spats, jealousy, anguish, it has always been him.. I love him.."
The above lines which commenced what she recently wrote in her diary entitled as MY MCP- Love Mechanics! played in her mind.
That's it she thought as she wiped away the tears down her cheeks. She smiled a bit as she turned to face him.
He was looking squarely at the ground, clenching his fists and running his fingers through his hair.
She walked upto him and cupped his face. Her touch immediately brought rest to his struggling senses.
" Look at me Randhir, Please? "
He lifted his gaze to meet hers and she smiled wider.
" I'm sorry.. " she said.
" No Sanyukta, I'm sorry." said Randhir.
He held her hands in his and continued " I'm like this and I've always been. I'm this jealous and selfish. I'm this possesive about you. I can't just handle the thought of anybody nearing you except me. And Parth...You've always been closer to Parth compared to me and it stabs my soul everytime I see that. I don't like that vibe Sanyukta!"
He gasped as he wiped his brow off the sweat.
Sanyukta couldn't help the chuckle escape her sealed lips.
" This ain't funny! Im serious cuz... " stopped Randhir abruptly.
" Cuz? " questioned Sanyukta.
" Cuz... I love you. " said Randhir as he tilted to peck her cheek.
" I love you too. " said Sanyukta not moving from his embrace.
They remained in each other's embrace in pure bliss for what seemed like eternity.
" Okay then, I don't want this to happen again. I can't take it if you stick up to that Parth. Its envious. Whatever it is come and tell me. Stop taking help from people who can never accomplish it! " said Randhir proudly.
" Okay baba! I now know what you are like when you go green so no more risks! " said Sanyukta as ahe giggled.
Randhir kept looking at her with an unknown fear in his eyes.
" I'm there with you always.. We will be Together Forever. " said Sanyukta
" Promise ? " said a tear-eyed Randhir.
" Pakka waala! " said Sanyukta as she wiped the lone tear that escaped his grey orbs.
Randhir leaned as he slowly brushed his lips past Sanyukta's and they stood like that savouring each other till they ran out of breath.
Sanyukta moved apart as she blushed a crimson not looking at him. Randhir smirked at her as he held her hand tighter and they started towards the class room hand in hand.
" Together.. " said Randhir as he smiled at her.
" Forever. " said Sanyukta in an eternal bliss.

Randhir wiped the tears rolling down his cheeks. He plastered a smile on his face, just like in the pleasant reverie he was in for the past 15 minutes. He offered Sanyukta a flower bouquet as he got up from his knees. He wiped another lone tear and smiled wider as he said...
" Yeah, you are still there for me and I'm still waiting for you assuming this as a short and sweet 20 years Sanyukta-hiatus" and left the cemetary in his usual trance.
Hope you all liked it.. Boring? Chappals and tomatoes for the climax? Do comment.
Love,
Nikithađ
