Maan thinks Geet as he drives...

He is very concerned for he knows that Geet is so careless...

What took her so long?

Maan keeps looking for them on the way...

What if they are lost in the middle?

But Geet is not alone...Adi is with her...

But still Maan is worried...

What if Geet had got into a fight with Adi and left on her own to find the shop...

He is afraid that Geet would get into a bral with everyone easily just like she does with him...

But Maan sir, ye toh sirf aapke saath hotha hai...

Kyunke aap kitne alag ho...bakhi sab toh Geet ke tarah normal log hothe hai...

They talk a lot and have fun, not like you...always measuring the words that you speak...

Maan starts thinking like Geet...and he doesn't find them on the way...

He reaches the shop and rushes in to find Geet...

But as Maan gets there he finds them just entering the shop...

Mr.Sharma is shocked to see Maan there...

So are the others...he never comes in person for the purchases...

He just makes a list and Adi finalises it...

Maan has come personally, so it must be very important...

Maan: Adi, itne dher kahan the?

Adi: woh sir...Geee Geee Geeet

Geet: humme bhook lagi thi toh rasthe mein khane ke liye rukh gaye

Bang comes the answer...

Maan keeps quiet for he doesn't want to belittle his respect...

Mr.Sharma is astonished...ye MSK hai kya?

Maan moves back...

Geet takes a look around...

She is disappointed...

Geet: par yahan toh aaisa kuch nahi hai

Sharma comes running...

Geet explains him what she wants...

Sharma is confused...

He brings a huge album and Geet shows him the piece she wants...

It looks exactly like the one broken...

But that is a rare antique piece...very very expensive...

Sharma: par madamji, ye bahut mehenga hai

Maan shouts...

Maan: aapko paison ki fikar karne ki koi zaroorat nahi, samje aap

He knows that this girl is very special...

He starts showing a lot of expensive show pieces...

Geet selects a lot of them...

Maan: Geet, tum sare ghar ko samaan se barogi toh mein kahan pe reh saktha?

Geet: aap na, kahin aur OH mein raho

Geet: aapko koi aur kaam hai toh aap jao, hum badh mein aathe hai

Adi: haan sir, mein hoona

Maan: Adi, tummara kaam ho gaya tum jao

Pinky: mein bhi aathi hoon

Geet looks at Maan...

Maan: kya dekhhti ho? mein tumme kuch nahi karnewala hoon

Maan gets closer...

Geet starts panting heavily...

Geet: mujhe, mujhe

Maan: haan bolo bolo, tujhe kya chahiye?

Maan almost pins her to the wall...

Geet: mujeh kuch nahi chahiye

Maan: toh chalein?

Geet: haan, mujhe bhi dher ho rahi hai

Maan: abhi abhi toh pura dukhaan kareedhna chahathi thi?

Geet: nahi nahi, bas yahi khaafi hai

Geet takes a small cute wooden statue...

Maan: Sharmaji

Sharmaji comes...

Maan: issko pack kijiye

Geet is puzzled by Maan's sudden changes...

He is getting closer and closer now a days...

Geet tries to avoid him but there is no escaping him whatsoever...

After most of the things are restored to their right place Geet then wants to select the curtains and other mattings...

Maan wants to accompany her...

As it is his place now he will have to decide the looks...

Geet is afraid to go alone with him...

But this is the last time and she couldn't refuse him...

After this Geet wouldn't come back to KM...

Her studies are also getting over in a couple of months and she would leave Delhi forever...

She doesn't even know whether she would come back to Delhi in future...

She knows her fate very well...

After shopping like a new couple shopping for their new home they return happy and contented...for the first time their choices matched and Maan is happy that he didn't have to argue with her today...

Maan takes her for dinner to appreciate her job...

After dinner as Maan drives her back to the hostel...

Geet is also very happy after a long time...

Maan looks at her smiling face and drives slowly not to disturb her...

Suddenly Geet's smile vanishes and she starts shouting...

Geet: gadhi rokho...gadhi rokho

Maan stops the car...

Maan: kya hua Geet?

Geet doesn't bother to reply...

She heads toward an elderly couple standing on the pavement...

The women is shivering in the cold breeze and the man is trying to protect her giving his torn kurta for her to cover...

Geet remembers her uncleji...

Geet gives her duppatta to that lady and runs back to the car...

Maan had already got down and is confused why she has stopped the car...

He sees her running toward him and he runs and stops her...

He thought that she is in trouble...

Maan runs and hugs her...

Maan is worried to see her like that...

Geet is embarrassed, she slowly moves out of his embrace...

Maan realizes that she is feeling shy...

And he steps back...

Geet keeps staring him...

Maan is confused...

Why is she staring him like that?

Geet stands there hesitating to ask him something...

Maan shakes her up and asks her what's the probem?

Maan: Geet, kya hua? Tum itne pareshaan kyun ho?

Geet takes a long breadth...

Geet: aapke coat

Maan looks at his coat...it's fine...

Geet: woh...mujhe dijiye

She starts removing his coat without even waiting for his permission...

Maan removes and gives it to her...

She takes it to that old man...

Then she rushes to the nearby chaat stall, gets some and gives it to them...

Maan keeps looking at her...

She is so happy seeing them smiling and sharing whatever they had...

Suddenly she bows and gets their blessings...

Geet: aaj mere janam din hai, aap mujhe aashirvaad dijiye

They bless her...

She finds their eyes wet...

Geet: kya hua? Aap ro kyun rahe ho?

Lady: kash humme bhi tummare jaise ek pyaari si beti hothi?

Geet feels very bad for them...

They also don't have anyone like her aunty and uncle...

Geet: aapke koi nahi hai?

Man: haina, theen theen bete hai

Geet: kya?

Lady: haan, theen theen nalayak bete hai, lekhin kya faida? Hum phir bhi sadak pe hi hai

Man: sshhh, tum hummare kahaani bathakke ussko kyun pareshaan karthi ho?

Geet is in tears...

Geet: koi baat nahi, aap ko dekhkke mujhe apne uncle aur auntyji ki yaad aagayi

Lady: woh kahan hai?

Geet: woh ab iss duniya mein nahi hai

Man: tum chintha mat karo beti, bagwaan hamesha tere rakhsha kaerga

Lady: haan beti, mere babaji hamesha tere saath honge

Geet: aapse milkke mujhe bahut kushi hui, jaise mein apne uncle aur aunty se milli ho, aap donno hamesha aaise hi raho ek saath

Lady: tum toh itni choti si umar mein kitne samajdar ho?

Geet: toh mein chalthi hoon, mujeh dher ho rahi hai...

Geet leaves ...

But Maan who was waiting there seeing her all the while goes and meets that couple...

He didn't want to interfere when Geet was interacting with them...

They welcome him with a big smile...

Lady: hare bete, tum usskke saath hi aaye haina?

Man: tujhe kaise patha?

Lady: meinne dekha issko, kaise ussko hi dekh raha tha

Man: koi bhi tummare nazar se nahi bach saktha, hare bete tum isski baat ko bhuara mat manna, ye aaisa hi hai

Lady: aap chup raho, bete, tum ussko hamesha aaisa hi ksuh rakhna, ye teri zindagi ko kushiyon se bardegi, bagwaan aap donno ki jadi ko hamesha banaye rakhe

Maan: haan ab yahi meri kushi hai, yahi meri zindagi hai

Maan looks at Geet...

Geet waves her hand and asks him to come...

Maan takes a 1000 rupee note and gives it to that lady...

That lady gives it back to him...

Lady: isse ussko koi tofa kareedhkke do, aaj usski janam din haina?

Maan is surprised to hear that...

Maan: what? Aaj Geet ka janam din hai?

Man: toh tum bhi bhool gaya hai kya? jaldhi jao, ussko sambalo

Lady: aapko kya lagtha? Sab aapke jaise hi honge?

Maan runs to the car...

He keeps staring Geet ...

Geet: kya dekh rahe ho? chalo jaldhi

Maan drives silently...

He stops the car at a boutique...

Geet: aapko kuch lena hai kya? aap pehele mujhe drop kyun nahi karthe? Mujhe dher ho arhi hai

Maan comes and opens the door for her...

Maan: tum bhi aao

Geet: mein ?

Maan: haan, tummare liye hi kuch lena hai

Geet: mere liye?

Maan: haan, jaldhi aao

Maan takes her in and asks her to select a dress for her...

But when Geet looks confused which one to select Maan selects a salwar for her ...

Geet ko bhi woh pasand hai...

Maan: issko pack kijiye

Maan gives it to her...

Maan: janam din Mubarak ho Geet

Geet is surprised...

Geet: aapko kaise patha?

Maan: tumne mujhse kyun chupaya Geet?

Geet: aaise kuch nahi hai, mein bas aunty ke jaane ke badh apne janam din ko celebrate nahi karthi, waise ab mere janam din ko kushi kushi mananewala koi nahi hai, unkke jaane ke badh mein bahut akhele ho gayi hoon

Tears start running down her cheeks...

Maan: nahi Geet, aaise mat kaho, ab tum akheli nahi ho, mein hoon tere saath

Geet looks at him...Maneet eyelock...mahiii...

Everything is done...interior, exterior and even her rose garden is in full bloom...

Geet runs all over the house and admires it...

This house which her uncle rented when he first came to Delhi with his new bride, from an army officer...

Aunty instantly liked it and made it her own place...

After two decades no one knew the army officer and it became the doctor's house now...

When the army officer wanted to sell this place uncle bought it from him and gifted it to aunty on their 25^th wedding anniversary...

Aunty was speechless when she received the documents from uncle...

She always worried what would happen when the owners reclaimed their cherished home...

Where would they go?

What will she do without her garden?

What will she do without that terrace? Where will she arrange the moon light dinners?

Geet was too young to understand what it meant to them...

She always wanted them to bulid a modern house for them with all the latest facilities...

Like the one that moti aunty is boasting to be the best in town...

Bigger than that...

Uncle would say that this house is for aunty and they can bulid a new one for Geet...

But aunty wanted to gift it to Geet after their days are over and that she would always cherish it as her own house...

Geet would nod her head partly understanding what her aunty said...

Remembering those golden days Geet is so happy to see it back in its old beauty...

Geet hops around the house satisfied with a huge amile on her face...

Maan is just happy to see that smile on her face...

Even the servants now love the house and are not afraid anymore...

No place is kept locked or unattended...

Geet suddenly remembers that small room in the terrace which used to be her uncle's study...

She just remembers a couple of times going inside that room...

It's full of uncle's books...

Uncle never allows anyone inside that room...even aunty...

She runs to see what's in that room after all...

She finds the keys missing...

She calls Maan and asks for the keys...

Maan: Geet, yahan kya hoga? Koi puarane kachda hoga

Geet: nahi nahi, aap pehle issko kholo

Maan gets the master keys and tries to open it...

Finally he succeeds...

They enter a dark and dusty mess...

Maan opens the curtains and the windows to let some light in...

Geet switches on the lights...

Geet looks at her uncle's reading glasses...

She finds some books kept on the table and some scattered all over the place...

She tries to arrange them and put them back on the shelf...

Maan tries to help her...

He opens the drawer of the study table only to find it filled with chocolate wrappers...

Maan smiles looking at them...

Maan: Geet, yahan dekho

Geet is also surprised to see them...

She knows that her uncle has a sweet tooth and is fond of chocolates...

But aunty restricts him for he can't stop with one ...

She teases him that being a doctor he should set an example for kids, but even kids are better than him when it comes to chocolates...they are satisfied with one or two at a time btu not him...he takes them as the main course not as a dessert...

Geet smiles and says: uncle ko chocolates bahut pasand hai

Maan: itna pasand?

Maan takes out loads and loads of chocolate wrappers...

While she takes a heavy book, a small envelope drops from it...

Geet takes it and is surprised to see her name on that...

That was a letter addressed to her which her uncle never posted...

That was written just a couple of days before he died of a massive heart attack...

Yes, uncle died of a sudden heart attack ...

Aunty ended her life not able to bear his separation...

That was just when Geet had joined hostel...

Aunty pleaded Geet's father to let Geet stay with then but he just never let her stay with them...

After that drastic step that aunty took to save Geet, Geet's father ended their relationship forever...she didn't even know that her uncle had left this world before she got the news of her aunty's sad end...

No one was allowed to come for their funerel...not even her mother...

It's only after Geet gathered all her courage she came here to see their house

Geet stares the envelope with tears in her eyes...

finally maan confessed his feelings that he is in love with geet and happy to spend with her and maan presenting dress for her bday.

Maan toh sirf Geet ko hi dekhthe rehtha...

Geet feels embarrassed...

But Maan keeps following her everywhere...

Later she also gives up and even shakes a leg with him...

Maan offers her a lift that night...

It's raining outside...

Geet opens te door and starts walking in the rain...

Maan didn't expect her to wlak out in the rain...

Maan hesitates to step out in the rain...

But Geet will disappear from his sight and what will he do?

How would he miss this opportunity?

Maybe this is the last chance...

Maan runs after her...

He finds her dancing merrily in the rain...

He stops and admires his Mishty for a while...

Geet finds him and asks him to join her...

They dance in the rain like kids...

All of a sudden thunder strikes and Geet hugs Maan tightly...

Maan is thunder struck...a thousand volts pass thru his body...

He cuddles her within his embrace...

For a moment Geet felt like she is in heaven...

The sky clears and Geet too feels like a free bird...

Then she remembers that she is still a caged bird, her life doesn't belong to her anymore...

It's time for her to get back to her cage...

She can see her family waiting for her...

Waiting to curb her wings and put her in that cage forever...

Just like her mother and sister...

Only good thing is that she won't be put in some odd cage, she is going to share the cage with her lovely elder sister...

She remembers her sister and the promise she made her...

If she breaks her promise it's not only her but her sister would also suffer...

She realizes that this man has no place in her world...

She then steps back, and runs away with tears in her eyes...

She never wanted to see him again...

But the following week she came to see him with her wedding card...

Maan was shocked but he felt that he had been cheated...

Yet he wanted her to just say once that she doesn't like this marriage...

Just tell me Geet that you love me...

He kept staring at her the whole 10 minites as she tried very hard to sport a smile on her face...

Then she left without uttering a single word...

She knew that he loves her...

She didn't want him to keep waiting for her...

She wanted him to move on, so she came to give him the invitation, not to invite him for her wedding...

Now that she had conveyed the message to him, she felt a little relieved...

It's now up to him to get out of this mess that he himself created...

She never wanted to let him affect her...

She always tried to maintain a distance...but he always wanted her close to his heart...

He is the one who always crossed that line with such an ease that even Geet didn't realize it until he became an inevitable part of her life...

She always convinced herself that she is going to KM only for her job but her heart knows that she is lying...she wants to be with him...though it's only for a few hours she wants to stay with him ...fight with him...cry her heart out and tell everything to him...but then something stops her and she knows that he will get into unneccesarry trouble and she is also not sure what she wants...b'coz her life is now entangled with her sister's life know...

If she wants to run away then her sister too would have to return to her maikka with her children...for her marriage is fixed with her buaji's second son, her jiju's younger brother...

If she tries to stop this wedding then her sister would be sent home...that was the cunning deal that she was forced to make for pursuing her studies...

She promised her sister that she would marry her sister's devar after completing her studies...

But those morons have arranged the marriage as soon as they knew that Geet is 18...

That's the only thing that had stopped them all this years...

Else she would have been married off to that rougue 3 yaers back...

If not for her aunty her marriage would have taken place on that day itself...

After Geet completed school and went to Hoshiarpur for the holidays, her family had made all the arrangements for her wedding for they didn't want to let their family fortunes get out of their family...her bhuaji is also a Handa know...let her sons have it...

Her sister has already been made a scaoe goat, now it was Geet's turn...

Geet was too young to oppose them...she called her aunty and her aunty who was kept unaware of this wedding for she wanted Geet to join college and had already secured her a seat in one of Delhi's well known institutions...

Her aunty came with the police inspector in the wedding eve and stopped the wedding...

The inspector warned them that it's illegal to get her married as she is still a minor...

Everyone blamed her aunty but her aunty stood firmly by her and she left only after they promised to send her to college...she had complained to the sarpanchji who advised them that it's better to send her to college as they can't get her married and if she stays at Hoshaiarpur everyone would start speaking ill of her as her wedding is cancelled...

After her aunt left they asked her to swear that she would marry that same man who is nearly double her age, she was 15 and he was 30...

If she tries to cheat them then they would send her sister back...

Geet thought that it's better for her sister, but her sister was content with her life and she loves her jiju very much...he is somewhat good but is a coward...he is afraid of his mother...

Geet had no other go but to accept that deal...

Atleast she got 3 years of her own...

She thought that she could first finish her degree and get a job...

Then she can slowly convince them that this will not work as she wants to work...

But all of a sudden on the day after her 18^th b'day her lovely fianc came with the wedding cards and asked her to get ready for their wedding...he warned her not to try any tricks for this time she is all alone and no aunty or uncle to support her...moreover her sister is eagerly awaiting her arrival...

Geet had her final exams next month and her beloved fianc was kind enough to let her sit for the exams...if she behaves like a good girl then she won't have any problem at all...

That's when she decided to be a good girl for her family...a good sister...a good daughter...
