Jodha was walking towards jalu's room to give him aarti n prasad n recalling rahim's words about how jalu cares for her things n tulsi plant in her absense, other side dasi came to jalu's room n he ask to bring jodha's potrait, jalal is talking to himself.. how much he loves her and how he cannot stay away from her and needs her presence *even in the form of portrait hi sahi* 24*, other side jodha is talking to herself that jalu did all this behind her back but never showed his love when she's around.
In ruqu's hojra, she was njoying hukka, hoshiyar came n ask about her well being she says she's f9, hoshiyar saw the potrait of her n jalu together n appreciate it n then says that its better she'll keep the potrait as jalu is spending less time with her these days, ruqu scolds him n ask to be in limits n he start appreciating it again after asking for sorry.
Ruqaiyya looks at the portrait , gives a knowing smile.. remarks that she knows Jalal and his tastses.. She is sure that Jodha is a new fad of Jalal which will erase itself soon.. Ruqaiyya is sure that Jalal will come back to her as usual. Ruqaiyya has some plans for the portrait.

Ruqu says that she has came with a gift n gave that potrait to jalu n he appreciate it, ruqu says that she was this potrait to be place in his hojra at a place where people notice it n get to know their strong bonding, jalu ask her to place where ever she want, she hang it on the head side of bed, jalu then ask jodha to decide place for her potrait she says she's happy that he's keeping it, she dnt want anything else, jalu put it on the leg/foot side of his bed (so that he can see her whenever he open/close his eyes), ruqu taunts it n both begums leave, jalu laughs on ruqu's nadani.
Next scene, jodha was feeding pigeons, moti came n tease her about jalu, how she always wanted to be with him these days, at the same moment javeda came n was happy to see her, n ask her if she's angry with her n maham, jodha dnt know the reason behind says she's not angry, javedha leaves n moti told everything about maham's evilness n jalu n maham's broken relation.
Jodha goes to talk with salima, Salima tells Jodha that the reason for the distance between M & J was cuz Maham felt insecure over the growing influence of Jodha over Jalal, she wanted to separate them so that Maham could be the numero Uno n for that purpose she used Sujjamal and her as a pawn, filled Jalal's mind with poison n turned him against her. Salima lets out a telling remark, saying that Jalal still loves Badi Ammi hence he has given mild punishment to hr instead of decapitating her, at the same time rahim came n lovingly hugs salima, jodha leaves.
While she was leaving she encounter with maham, jodha ask her is she's ashamed or not on that maham gets angry n started shouting.
