Sadda Haq - The Real Story

I'm a girl and I started watching "Sadda Haq: My Life, My Choice" the day it was aired because I always aspired to become an engineer. Seeing Sanyukta in promos always inspired and encouraged me to follow my dreams and so I did start watching the show.

I was also aware of the fact that a handsome hero would come in who would make a great love story with Sanyukta, marry her and then she would live the so-called "happy life".

It did happen. Partially. Randhir came in and my feelings for him is same as Sanyukta. Hatred. I'm talking about the character "Randhir" and NOT Param Singh. He's on television, so it is obvious that he HAS to be good-looking. But if he would be in real-life, tell me, would the fangirls be still fangirling over him as they're doing now?

There are so many fanpages of Sadda Haq on Facebook. And most of them are based on "Sandhir". Though I'm not objecting Sandhir, I'm just trying to remind the fact that "Sandhir" is NOT the main motto of the show. "Sanyukta and her dream to become a Mechanical Engineer" IS the main motto of the show. Often fangirls forget that.

Randhir hates women. Till this date of the episodes being telecasted, Randhir still wants Sanyukta to get married and leave the college. Though most of the people might be thinking "Oh he's in love and wants to hide his feelings." but think about it in a practical way. He STILL has the same, what Sanyukta calls "MCP" mentality.

The scene in which Randhir says Sanyukta "Tumhe rulane ka haq sirf mujhe hai" isn't a romantic scene. All through our lives we have been taught that if a guy is rude with you, he likes you. If he fights with you, he likes you. Rubbish. That is just a way to show male dominance. In that scene, he actually emphasizes on the fact that Sanyukta should be in his control. She should cry when HE wants her to. I don't care how much emotions he put in to deliver those lines and how romantic the background music was..that mentality is disgusting. Sanyukta well said in today's episode that "Mujhe rulane ka haq kisi ko nahi hain." I read a few (I'm NOT talking about all) comments on today's episodes which said "I feel bad for Randhir because Sanyukta locked him up." WHAT?! WHAT? WHAT! WHAT THE HELL?! When Randhir troubles and makes Sanyukta's life as hell it is "He's so cute, he cares for her but is afraid to tell her" and when Sanyukta does it they feel bad. I don't believe in humanity anymore.

I'm not trying to offend anybody but some of the fanfictions disgust me. There are hundreds of fanfictions in which Sanyukta and Randhir get married. Not against it, but who would go for a guy like Randhir? None. Think practically. Randhir is dominant. And no one likes a person being dominant over him/her. As far if it is Sanyukta, she won't stand his dominance. Never.

Parth on the other hand is much better than Randhir. Sorry fangirls, think practically. Parth is supportive and helpful. He also doesn't have any "dominance" attitude. Completely opposite of Randhir. And better. If you would have a choice between two people to spend your life with, who would you choose? A guy who's caring, helpful and non-dominant OR a guy who is dominant, caring yet would make your life hell and egoistic? The answer is clear. And if you're choosing the second one, probably sure that you want to live your life as a slave. That's what women did in the early 19th and 20th century. THIS IS THE 21ST CENTURY. THIS IS 2014.

Until Randhir changes his attitude and humbles down a little...actually, A LOT, I don't think Sanyukta and Randhir should get together in any way. If they did, I would highly disappointed by the writers. And if these both characters really existed in real life, I can guarantee that Sanyukta would NEVER choose Randhir. Even if he changes. But since it's a story..anything can happen. If Sanyukta and Parth get together, that would be a relief. And if she didn't choose any of them and chose to live single and follow her dreams, better. But not Randhir. At least, not with his current attitude.

Sorry if I offended any "Sandhir" fans. This is the truth. Think practically and accept it. I myself like romantic scenes..but I need to be a little practical and logical.

^^ you said it everything i want..i just want to add one thing that RD doesnt hate woman..he hates carrier freak womans coz they remind him of his mother who ignored him n left him at a tender age. He dont hate kaustuki or sanyu's mother or anyone but sanyu..why??? coz he find her similar to his mother. n even now whn he is developing his emotion for sanyukta m sure he will not confess it to himself too,he is afraid of getting attached to anyone..he possess the fear of losing his loved ones. we love randhir not because he is handsome or something but because we can see him beyond what he is..but i agree on the note that its too early for any relationship between sandhir..RD needs to change his pov towards sanyu..he need to understand her dream,n that can only happen when he will understand his mother. n sanyukta needs to see himself more than just mcp..they both are imperfect..thats why they are perfect together.

And infact I also feel that its too early for love
What I basically want is cvs to show a little change in their point of view
Because both are imperfect and have a great need to understand each other 😛
