CHAPTER 71 (B). LETS GET THE MAGARMACH OUT OF THE HOUSE!

Place - Sheeshmahal

Day - 3 Sunday continued

When Khushi followed Arnav out of the main hall, she was sidetracked by Paayal who was feeling sad. And her sadness was valid. Even though she stood by Aakash's decision to not to get married in Sheeshmahal, it was also true that her marriage had just been gotten postponed. After consoling Paayal for a while, Khushi excused herself and walked out of the room. She wanted to breathe some fresh air and take in all the things that happened recently. It was a lot to digest for her heart and mind.

As Khushi came towards the balcony nearby she was shocked to see Arnav standing there, leaning on the railing, looking towards the city. She bit her lip. She did not want to face him right now. She was definitely sure that he would start flirting with her saying that now his marriage was postponed, he had more chance with her. And she did not want to hear that right now when she had just learned the devastating truth that both of her sisters' marriage has been postponed. Arnav would not understand the heartbreak she was feeling right now.

As Khushi turned to walk away, she saw something and frowned. Arnav's shoulders were shaking. Was he? No! I don't think so! But? She walked few steps closer to him and her eyes widened. Yes! He was definitely crying. Horrified to see it, she ran few steps ahead and reached him. She stood beside him and placed her hand on his shoulder, "Arnavji?" Arnav looked at her and she gasped as she saw his red eyes and tearful face. He had been crying!

Arnav looked at Khushi for few seconds and then threw himself at her, hugging her tightly. Khushi felt her eyes well up too and she hugged him back trying to comfort him as much as possible. After a while, Arnav pulled away.

"Kyun?", he whispered and she looked at him confusedly.

"Kyun woh waapas aaya Khushi? Kyun?"

Khushi had no answer.

"Hum sab kitne khush the na? Subah mein hi toh hum sab bachchon ki tarah khel rahe the." He let out a laugh which turned into a sob.

"Main toh almost bhool gaya tha ki Sheeshmahal mein itne saal pehle kya hua tha! Lekin usne aake sab yaad dila diya tha!" He took a deep breath unable to handle the pain he was feeling in his heart.

Khushi looked away unable to see him so broken and devastated. She turned around and tried to walk away when he grasped her hand, "Mat jaao!", he whispered. She stood still but did not turn around. Her head was bowed down as she felt his pain and hurt.

"Anjali Di zidd karke baithi hai ki meri shaadi Sheeshmahal mein hi hogi. Jaanti ho kyun?"

Khushi shook her head.

"Kyunki meri Ma ka sapna tha ki humaare ghar ki bahu isi ghar mein aayegi aur Di ki doli bhi isi ghar se uthegi. Di ki doli toh yahaan se uth nahi paayi, toh Di chaahti hai ki atleast meri shaadi toh yahin ho!"

Khushi smiled softly through her tears.

"Bahut mushkil se apne dil ko mana paaya tha Khushi! Yahaan aane ke liye! Bahut dard sehna pada iss ghar mein kadam rakhne ke liye!"

Arnav's eyes flashed with anger and betrayal, "Lekin aaj us aadmi ne iss ghar mein kadam rakh ke mere dil ka dard phir se jaga diya hai! Jis din ko main ek daraavna sapna samajh kar bhoolne laga tha, aaj wahi sapna mere saamne phir se aa khada hua hai!"

Suddenly, Arnav roared, "Dammit! WHY CAN'T THAT MAN LEAVE US ALONE? DOES HE LIKE TO SEE US IN PAIN? DOES HE LIKE THAT?"

He grabbed Khushi by her arms and shook her roughly, "Bolo Khushi! Tum bataao! Kya chaahta hai woh aadmi humse!", he pleaded to her, "Bataao! Please bataao!" Khushi shook her head tearfully and Arnav backed away from her. He looked all around wanting someone or something to distract him from the nightmare his life had become. Khushi stepped ahead and cupped his face in her hands. Arnav teared up again and both hugged each other tightly.

Suddenly, Geet burst into the balcony, "AB..." She trailed off seeing both hugging each other. Arnav and Khushi split away and looked at her awkwardly. Both wiped the tears in their eyes and on their faces. Geet stood there for few seconds looking at Arnav and Khushi alternatively.

"Haan bolo! Geet!", Arnav broke into her thoughts and Geet smiled hesitantly.

"NT Di ne aapko bulaaya hai! She said something about Council meeting! Par mujhe samajh nahi aaya!"

Arnav nodded, "I know what she is talking about! Take me to her!"

Geet looked at Khushi, "Aur tumhein bhi aane ko kahaa hai!"

Khushi nodded and she and Arnav followed Geet.

All three entered the room to see Maan, NT, Dev, Arjun, Annie, Paayal, Aakash, Lavanya and NK sitting on various seats waiting for them to come. The moment Arnav, Geet and Khushi took their seats NT got up and spoke, "Welcome everybody! For those who don't know jab hum, Dev, Aakash, Arjun Veerji, Annie aur Arnav Bhai chote the, and I mean before Di and Bhai's parents death, tab hum mein se koi bhi problem mein hota tha toh hum ek Meeting bulaate the jise hum sab Council meeting kehte the!"

Maan rolled his eyes at the name but NT ignored him and continued, "Koi classmate aapko harass kar raha hai? Meeting bulaao! Maan Veerji jyaada hi kuch serious ho gaye hain? Meeting bulaao!" Everyone smiled at NT for her Maan comment.

"Iss meeting mein hum sab baithke plan karte the ki humaare problem ko solve kaise karna hai! Agar koi classmate aapko sata raha hai toh Arnav Bhai prank plan karte aur hum sab use execute karne mein madat karte the! Agar Maan Veerji jyaada hi kuch serious hogaye hain toh hum sab milke unhein picture dikhaane le jaate, ya toh blackmail use karke ya toh Daadima ko force karke! But we six made sure what we wanted, happened! Haan! Woh alag baat hai ki baad mein Anjali Di aur Maan Veerji se hum daant khaate, but that is a different story!"

By the time her lecture was done, most of the people in the room were giggling and laughing as they imagined the younger versions of Maan and Anjali running around their siblings scolding them.

"Lekin", NT spoke and the room quieted down, "Kuch saalon baad humne yeh council meetings band kar di kyunki hum sab bade ho chuke the! Lekin ab humaare zindagi mein ek aisa problem aa gaya hai ki humein phir se humaare council meetings aur uske members ki jaroorat padegi!"

Everone looked at her either with a smile or with curiosity.

"Dekho! Baat bahut simple hai!", NT continued, "Humaare ghar ek chuha ghus aaya! You call him a pest ya sar dard ya my personal favorite the magarmach of Malik family!" Everyone looked at her in surprise. NT? Badmouthing somebody? But then the Chacha was so annoying and sleazy that he irritated everyone.

"Dekho friends and family! Hum iss ek pest ki wajah se humaare Chote aur Chutke ki shaadi toh nahi tod sakte, right? We can't let this idiot hurt us so easily! He can't get away with what he did without retribution from us?"

Khushi interrupted her, "Par NT Bhabhi! Hum unhein kyun kosein? Woh toh iss parivar ki shaadi mein shaamil hona chaahte hain, aur kuch nahi!"

Arjun shook his head in anger, "Are you serious?"

NT stepped in before Arjun said something harsh to Khushi in his anger, "Dekho Khushi! Tumhein kya lagta hai? Ki woh yahaan apne parivar ki function attend karne aaye hain! Tum wahaan nahi thi Khushi jab Bhai aur Di ko ghar se baahar nikaala tha us aadmi ne! Hum the, Dev the, Arjun Veerji the aur Annie thi. Humne dekhi thi unki haivaaniyat!"

NT's eyes misted over as she went back in her mind to that day, "Kya kuch nahi sunaaya tha uss aadmi ne Anjali Di ko! Aise aise naam bulaaye the unhein jo naam sochke bhi khoon khol jaaye! Bachche the dono! Itne bade bhi nahi ki duniya samajh sake! Anjali Di toh bas roti rahi aur Arnav Bhai toh poore shock mein hi chale gaye! Raat ke baarah baje hum sadak pe khade the! Bhala ho Maan Veerji ka jinhonein Dev ke paas kuch paise de rakhe the emergency ke liye. Dev aur Arjun ne milke ek hotel dhoondha aur hum sab tab tak wahaan the jab tak Maan Veerji humein lene na aaye! Aur uss aadmi phir kabhi mudke bhi nahi dekha! Arnav Bhai aur Anjali Di ke paas unke pehne hue kapde ke siva kuch bhi nahi tha us waqt! Sochke jee katraata hai ki agar hum sab wahaan na hote toh..."

Dev came over and hugged NT as she cried softly. Annie was also crying and her husband was consoling her. Khushi and Geet had tears flowing down their cheeks while Lavanya and Paayal held each other's hand in comfort. Arnav and Maan were looking stoically ahead while NK and Aakash had their heads bowed down.

NT brushed her tears away and spoke up with fire in her eyes, "Bas ab bahut hogaya! Bahut sataaya liya unhonein humein! Ab humaari baari! Hum sataayenge unhein! Unhonein hum mein se ek ko nahi, hum sabko chot pahuchaayi hai! Ab hum unhein nahi chodenge! Aur itna sataayenge ki woh yeh ghar chodke turant chale jaayein! Anjali Di ne unhein ghar se nikaalne se mana kar diya na? Kyunki woh bade hain! Toh theek hai! Agar woh bade hain toh hum bhi chote hain! Toh chalo! Choton jaisi hi harqat karte hain! Humein shaadi tootne se problem nahi hai, humein problem iss baat se hai ki shaadi unki wajah se cancel ho rahi hai! Aur hum yeh nahi hone denge!"

"NT is right!", Arnav finally broke his silence and all looked at him in surprise. He looked at all of them with determination, "Agar hum chaaron ki shaadi cancel hogi toh kisi aur wajah se! Uss aadmi ke wajah se toh bilkul nahi!"

Maan spoke up angrily, "But main meri behno ki shaadi uss insaan ke saamne nahi hone dunga!"

NK piped in before anyone else could say anything, "But Maan Bro! What if woh insaan shaadi tak iss ghar mein hi na rahe?"

Everyone looked at NK in surprise.

NT spoke up, "Hum bhi toh yahi keh rahe hain! Agar woh hi shaadi ke din tak yahaan na rahe toh?"

Maan looked at NT and nodded, "Then it is fine! Lekin shaadi ko kitne din bache hain? Mushkil se paanch! How are we going to get him out so soon?"

Arnav smirked at Maan, "Woh sab tum mujhpe chod do Maan! Just tell me are you guys in or out?"

Maan thought for a second and then nodded, "I hate dealing with things in such an immature style. Lekin uss aadmi ke saamne Maturity aazma ke dekhli! Ab pranking hi sahi! As long as my sisters are getting married, I am all for it!" He smiled softly at Paayal and Lavanya who both smiled back.

"I am in!"

"Me too!"

"Anytime!"

"All game for it!"

Dev, Annie, Arjun and NK piped up one by one. Lavanya and Aakash nodded. Geet nodded enthusiastically while Khushi and Paayal nodded hesitantly.

NT spoke up, "Waise Arnav Bhai? Do you have any plan?"

Arnav gave her such a mischievous smirk that Geet, Maan, Dev, NT, Annie, Arjun, NK and Aakash were reminded of the younger Arnav whose pranks were severe when he wanted them to be. All of them shuddered and thanked God that they were not in Chachaji's place.

Arnav spoke up, "But I will need everyone's help! I cannot prepare such an elaborate plan and execute it in such a less time!"

All agreed to help him and soon Arnav explained to them the plan and their part in it. As all disappeared to do their part, Arnav smirked and spoke up with vindictiveness written on his face, "Hello Chachaji! Why don't you and I play some Home Alone? Remember the movie we watched together when I was a kid? Well! I think it is time you saw it in real life!"
