I was going to post this in the JE but it turned out to be longer than I expected due to my ranting of some characters.
I was dreading Ranvi's speech but he actually managed to impress me tonight. I'm glad he is overcoming his fear to speak and actually did pretty well considering the fact Baldev hijacked his rally.
Baldev with his new BGM hijacking Ranvi's rally is what made things more interesting, obviously he was not going to sit back while Ranvi made an impression on the people of the pind, he knew he had to act and did just that. Baldev telling people what they wanted to hear is nothing different from what a typical politician would say, he needed their attention and he got it. It was good to see both Ranvi and Baldev staying true to their characters, while keeping their personal and professional lives separate.
Balwant continues to show what a disappointment for a father he is! How can one have so much resentment towards their own child? I used to wonder this when it came to Bansuri and Gunjan but Balwant is not far behind in how he treats Baldev. WantSuri are the perfect pair in more ways than one! I won't root for Bansuri because I know she can easily turn her back on Baldev if the need arises.
Another person who I was disappointed with is Gunjan, writing down Baldev's wrongdoings in order to prove a point to the pind, really?? How quickly Gunjan forgets the good things her brother has done for her including the fact he sat as a dulhan so she could reunite with Ranvi! Fact is Gunjan is the last person to pass judgement on anyone given her wrongdoings, one of which is still unknown to Ranvi.
The Veera and Baldev scene was good but not because of them, it was because of Billa and Jaggi! I love the fact they are true friends to Baldev and that respect extends to Veera as well.
