Even before he could re-establish himself on TV, his character has been destroyed beyond repair. This is my last post for this show, because I want to move on. This show has affected me so much that I have not been able to think of anything else. Especially since the marriage fiasco all I can think of is how could the writer's destroy Raghav's character to such an extent. They have ruined it to such an extent it is almost sick (sic!!). . Even in my earlier post I said that I thought this show might be different because of ASHISH CHOUDHARY, (and so many of you may have thought the same?) and he was doing such a fantastic job. But no, as usual whoever is in charge of this has messed it up beyond repair. How can a man so in love turn around and marry someone else.. After all that he says 'I will never marry Pakhi' 'I cannot live without Kalpana'. Not a man of his word, and not trustworthy. And he expects Kalpi to understand him? Why?

A beautiful love story destroyed and ruined just like the rest of the shows. And D&T and PD need to get their heads examined. Would they marry someone for revenge? Really? Is revenge not possible without making a mockery of marriage? As it is now a days the institution of marriage is losing its credibility, and shows like this only reinforce this kind of negativity. I have not seen the show these last couple of days and I don't think I can bear to watch the nonsense they are showing. I have been reading the updates and that is causing me too much heartache. So decided not to watch or read, unless by some miracle they manage to save it... which I doubt very much, BEYOND REDEMPTION.

Because now what will happen is Kalpana will probably tell him to go and live his life with Pakhi as she does not want to get involved with a married man. And I also read about the suhaag raat of Rakhi..sic sic sic...urghhh I want to throw up. And please please do not marry Kalpi off to Sammy, that would be an anti climax.

And finally AshIsh, my question to you... why did you let them do this to you. WHY?

Sorry people I know a lot of discussion has been going on, but could not resist this one last post...

Totally agree
Story line indicates there's nothing sacred about marriage, promises are made to be broken, icing on the cake was making mockery of Bappa/religion

During one of his interviews Ashish cites reason for joing EMA from the numerous scripts he'd been offered was 'cause this wasn't a typical story lines..it was something unique & different
I guess at the end of the day he's a puppet & has to dance to his master's tunes..in this the CV/PD

Yes, I too had watched that video. And now his character is no better than Neetu and Sahil! He is also using Pakhi to take revenge. So how does that make him a protagonist.

Agreed, this was a beautiful storyline and there were so many possibilities of how they could have maneuvered it to still include the 'revenge' story. Which would have in fact made this show more interesting and different. So many english shows have the theme of revenge, but show it in a different way. Why couldn't these CVs have thought differently. Instead they butchered the storyline and assasinated the character to such an extent that we as viewers have NO SYMPATHY for the male protagonist. What's left in the show, then? You have to 'cheer' the characters in order to be vested. To feel like the character was a farce and a fraud makes us viewers feel so cheated (like Kalpi) - why the heck would we believe anything moving on? Instead, we have no vested interest or feelings of caring anymore for the main lead character. Instead, we are on 'team kalpi, no longer - Ragna!
I'd rather see a new show on Kalpana and her life. It'd be a heck of a lot more inspiring than the bs lovestory that the CV's flushed down the toilet!

Very well said. The character of RS has be mercilessly butchered. Thrown off the cliff with no hope for survival! Sad. Really sad. Really really sad!

Raghav's initial plan was to make Pakhi fall fin love with him. If he wanted to marry Pakhi he could have could have continued with that plan. Pakhi was anyway fully infatuated with him.
There was no need for the CV's to show Raghav falling in love with Kalpana and then making her fall in love with him and then ditching her at the last moment and then showing RAkhi marriage.

I completely agree with you. The way the cvs have butchered his character I won't be surprised if he quits. They have made him on par with the people he is out to seek revenge from. How is he different from Neetu and sahil? They brought this character down to gutter trash level with this idiotic story line. Zee tv is promoting disrespect of marriage and showing that it's ok for a man to ruin a girls life for the sake of stupid revenge. What crap! Ashish may need to find an exit clause in his contract cause he's been reduced from suave business man in a copter to being beaten like a common thief in the chawl. Who wants to portray that nonsense?

How true, that would have been a much better track without ruining the show.
