That Celina Jaitly is not exactly the best-dressed starlet in B-Town is not news, but now she's officially on our Worst Dressed list.

We've been trying to let her know in not so many words that she really needs a better stylist, but will she listen? No way!

Instead she goes and makes our blood pressure explode through the roof by attending a promotional event for PETA dressed like a go-go dancer!

Really, dahling, we know you want to be an 'elefriend' and all that, but do you have to make the male elephants go into a frenzy while you're trying to do good? There's no reason why you can't promote a good cause with class, hun.

Na Ghar Ka Na Ghaat Ka: Iqbal Khan

Iqbal Khan (Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai on Sony and Karam Apna Apna on Star) has been tom-tomming the fact that he has signed an upcoming show on Star One, but we think he's spoken a little too soon. Reason?

We've learnt on good authority that it's only a matter of time before he is shown the door (yes, already) from the show!

Says a well-placed source at Star, "We have a policy stating that any actor who has walked out of a Balaji show cannot act in any other show for Star.

Hence, we will soon be informing Iqbal about our decision to script his character out of the show. Since we've already started shooting and can't replace him, we will either kill off his character or show him leaving."

A source from Balaji says that even though Iqbal parted with Ekta Kapoor on amicable terms, Kapoor hasn't forgotten the fact that he left because TRPs for Karam Apna Apna dropped from 11 to 7 (establishing a new actor takes time, no?).

"His walkout hurt the show, and it's unfair for an actor to walk in and out of projects. It's unethical to do another show for a different production house just because he is getting more moolah.

Iqbal left Karam for a show on Sony as they were offering him more money. Now that the show has been scrapped, he has signed the Star One show."

I 'Cannes' do it again

The screening of Michael Winterbottom's A Mighty Heart at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival received a standing ovation at its premiere.

Says Irrfan Khan, who plays a Pakistani intelligence officer in the film, "I was watching it for the first time with Angelina (Jolie) and Brad (Pitt), and Marianne Pearl (on whose book the film is based; Jolie plays her) was also there with her son, Adam.

They didn't watch it with us as they've already seen the film." All the glitz and glamour of Cannes has definitely rubbed off on Irrfan, as he says he's run into stars like George Clooney and Andy Garcia who are there for the premiere of Ocean's 13.

"This is the first time one of my films was shown at Cannes. The glamour, creativity, photo shoots and press conferences are so unreal and yet part of cinematic reality.

With The Namesake and A Mighty Heart, I'm being recognised here. I hope it lasts," says Irrfan, fingers crossed and all.

More on Cannes, Amitabh Bachchan also attended the festival to promote this week's release, Cheeni Kum, and we hear the audience gave him a standing ovation too.

Bachchan, for his part, is delighted at the recognition Indian films and stars are receiving thanks to the festival.

"Cannes is internationally famous for marketing films all over the world. It is wonderful to find Indian cinema here as well.

Our films are making a mark in France and the buzz our cinema has generated is palpable.

I knew what to expect because Abhishek had already given me feedback about the awesome films this year and the energy of the place."

Fit As A Fiddle: Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor's love for power yoga has really helped her get in shape and stay that way.

But now, she's discovered another benefit, as she gets ready to leave for an outdoor schedule of Yash Raj Films' Tashan in Leh (Ladakh) in the coming weeks.

Says a friend of the actress, "Someone told Bebo that she has to make sure her lungs are in great form on that altitude.

Hence, she's been doing a lot of pranayam and other breathing exercises to ensure she doesn't face problems there."

Stars will do the darndest things to keep fit, eh?

Television Czarina Ekta Kapoor has a new philosophy on the opposite sex.
According to her, men are like babies.

On this week's episode of Koffee With Karan on Star World, Ekta says, "Men are extremely emotional, because of which they react to situations instantly, because of which what happens is they would even put their career at stake if they came to it.

Men are like babies… they have to be mollycoddled (sure we'd correct the grammar, but then the quote would be less fun, no?)."However, one baby Kapoor wouldn't want to fuss over is Rajeev 'Sujal' Khandelwal.

Says Ekta, "That's not any kinda baby I like! That was not somebody who wanted a toffee or a chocolate… he wanted my house!

So I said no!" Don't you just luurve the way she takes the mickey out of this man?!
