Understanding Paro's wave?!?

There is a large variance in Paro as a character but there is always a rhyme or reason behind what she does. Today, I found her bolting out of their room to the moment the music started to be a little superficial compared to the beliefs I assume and feel the character to have. Her stopping him from leaving their room felt very much in line with her behavior but I got lost after that.

.
Paro is fine with Rudra the way he is, even in his anger so long as he is understanding of her as he has always been. Then why all of a sudden does she become jubilant rather than a subtle smile?
.
Help me understand what Paro is thinking. As a reminder, I am only discussing the character (and possibly the production of said sequence) and nothing more.

bhaisa... there are 2 reasons..I agree... Paro is more down to earth and her being jubilant might have felt a bit strange but there was a reason behind it. Rudra never actually smiled at her and this was the first time... wasn't that enough reason to be jubilant?

second is TRPs😉

😆 TRP one I understood but I really want to make sense of the episode and Rudra has already smile to her before... many times. Smirks when he pranked her for example.

she was too caught up in the prank to notice his sexy smirk 😆
this was the First conscious and direct smile he passed to her
i would have fainted then there if i was Paro 😆

But Paro is shy also. Paro very much wears her heart on her sleeve but she doesn't go around sharing it either. That is the one area where she is most deeply hurt and will never share. So far I have found that Paro, the character, always invests her emotions into someone else and not let them out herself. 🤔 There is a very sharp contrast there which manifested itself in today's episode.

Perhaps theres a sense of desperation in her now that she has to leave when he is better... She is subconsciously asking him to be more attached to her. Remember when she tried to help him with his hand and said hold on to me as if you will never let me go? Today was his first day in uniform since he came home drunk and married her! It was his full return to his naukri, and she wanted a good start. Her running after him was that desperation, and her burst of happiness was because he smiled at her... Not because he pranked her, not because he was sarcastic, not because she said something ridiculous, but just because she was standing there, waiting for him to turn. He smiled at her because he actually felt like it, it was not a prompted reaction, and she was on cloud nine!

I like this explanation of yours about Paro ... honestly, I also found it out of character for Paro to be so overjoyed, when she knows that the moment Rudra is back to normal, she will leave. And he managed to hold her hand today ... so that recovery is coming closer, and so is her day of leaving.

But you have a point ... rather than withdrawing herself, she's coming closer to Rudra, to make him more sure of her love, so that when she leaves, he should understand that there was more to her leaving than just the betrayal of a khubsoorat aurat. And it was a special day, it was the day he returned fully to his beloved naukri and she was trying to make it special for him, despite the fact that he was annoyed with her about Laila.

But I think she's making a mistake here, she doesn't realise how deep his feeling of betrayal runs. He won't remember her vows of love ... he will just see her leaving as another act of betrayal.

@bold: alright, I am on-board with that. She is very attached to him and his job so she wants to make sure it leaves her hands pristine. I would probably assign a different reason to her reaction but I think your point has merit. My guess would be that she doesn't want to be the fault as always rather than in desperation. I did not catch any desperation today and thus shift the cause.

@underlined: I guess the young Paro was a very externally reacting person but I find it hard to bridge the gap between her then and her now. Paro now seems very subdued and internalizing. I would even go so far as to say dependent on those she trusts. The outburst and the waving back was liberating but that would be much more transformative.

Lets also not forget that Paros life was turned upside down. She went through a strange kind of rebitrth, almost like becoming a different person with a completely different past. And now, now that the major has not done anthing to really hurt her since rhe pink bangles, her confidence is returning, and she is getting a little bolder, asking him more... And making grave errors, poor thing! Her restrained joy at the bangles, at his doming back for the puja, her prayers, and then more and more happiness at small things... Running out to just feel, at the thought of his thanking her, asking if she had reached, teasing her about jumping in through the window, saying she was his wife... Its all been building up, honey!
