Another short update... Hope you enjoy it 😉

Shlok and Aastha reached the Agnihotri Mansion. They came to the door and saw Varad and Sojal enjoying their evening tea. Sojal looked on as Varad sipped the tea.

"Aaj chai Raani ne nahi banayi... I have made the tea today... specially for you..!!" said Sojal expecting Varad to praise it.

"Achha? YOU have made it?" asked Varad. Sojal nodded in excitement. "Tabhi toh main soch raha hoon why the tea is so tasteless today...!!" said Varad teasing Sojal.

"Haww!!" Sojal's jaw dropped. She turned away pretending to be upset. Varad smiled as he put his hand around her shoulder and pulled her towards himself.

Aastha and Shlok stood there watching them. They looked at each other and smiled. "I wish you too love me like this...!!" thought Aastha as she looked at Shlok.

Varad and Sojal were lost into each other. "You know what" said Varad in a husky voice, "there is magic in your hands..." he kissed her hands.

Aastha was staring in awe. She unintentionally held Shlok's hand. Shlok looked at her left hand that had tighly held his right one. He was somewhat shocked, but he didn't mind. He looked at her. She was so simple yet so beautiful. Her silky hair waved along with the gentle breeze. Her beautiful brown eyes lead straight to her heart. Her innocence, her sincerity, her dedication, her gentleness, her understanding... all contributed to her beauty... the inner beauty. Shlok too held her hand now. He knew she wouldn't mind. He couldn't stop looking at her, he couldn't stop admiring her. He could spend hours and even days staring at her. Aastha was unaware that she was holding Shlok's hand. She was lost in imagining Shlok placing gentle kiss on her hands the way Varad kissed Sojal's. Shlok smiled looking at her. He knew he had found someone who could make him believe that life is beautiful, who understood him, with whom he could share everything, whom he could believe in, who would support and guide him through the tough situations in life. He felt blessed to have met Aastha and he felt thankful to Rahul to have offered Aastha the job against his wish.

Just then Kavya came running there. She was so happy to see Aastha that she came and hugged her legs. Varad and Sojal realised that Shlok and Aastha were present there. Varad quickly pulled back his hand and both stood up, embarrassed. No one spoke anything. All four just smiled looking at each other. Varad and Sojal did not fail to notice that Shlok and Aastha were holding each other's hand. They both exchanged glances, happy to see love blossoming between Shlok and Aastha.

Kavya happily asked, "Aastha Didi, you have come to play game with me, hai na?" Aastha didn't know what to say. She just smiled. She was about to speak when Shlok said, "No Kavya, Aastha Didi will play with you some other time, okay? She has come here for Chachu...!!" Aastha looked at Shlok in surprise. Shlok continued, "So she will not play with you now, okay?!" Kavya frowned. Aastha felt bad for her. "Kavya, Didi has work to do now... Next time when I come, I will surely play with you, okay? Bohot masti karenge hum!!" said Aastha to satisfy little Kavya. Kavya was very happy. "Pakka promise?" saying so Kavya extended her hand. Aastha placed her right palm gently on Kavya's tiny hand saying, "Pakka promise!!" Kavya jumped with joy. Everyone was amused to see how even very small things can make children so happy. Kavya ran towards Sojal and stood beside her holding her finger.

Shlok was about to take Aastha to his room. Just then Sojal asked "How are you Aastha?" Shlok had to wait now. "I am good...!!" said Aastha smiling. Shlok didn't have patience to wait more. Varad and Sojal couldn't stop noticing those hands holding each other. Shlok was about to speak but Varad spoke instead. "Uhm... Aastha, Baba was saying that your presentation with Shlok was great! Congratulations!" said Varad. Aastha and Shlok exchanged glances. "Thank you!" said Aastha. Shlok was about to walk ahead with Aastha but he had to wait yet again as Varad continued to speak. "So, how is your current project going on?" Varad asked Aastha. Aastha was about to reply but Shlok interrupted. "Dada, will you talk to Aastha later please?! Right now, I want to show her something...!!" said Shlok impatiently. "Sure...!!" said Varad smiling.

"Come...!" said Shlok to Aastha as they both walked to his room hand in hand. Aditi came out of her room hearing Shlok's voice. She was surprised to see Shlok come home so early. "When I had called him and told him to come early today..." she thought and recalled what Shlok had said... Sorry Aditi, I am very busy today... can't come home early...!! Bye!! "If he was so busy, how did he come home early? And that too with Aastha...!!" wondered Aditi. She was very jealous to see Shlok taking Aastha to his room holding her hand.

Aditi hurried behind them to see what was so special in his room. Sojal saw Aditi going towards Shlok's room. She didn't want Aditi to interfere between Shlok and Aastha. She began thinking of some idea to keep Aditi away from them. "Aditi..!" she called out. Aditi turned. "Come, let's prepare something special for the evening snacks!!" said Sojal.

"Now?!" Aditi asked spontaneously. She just wanted to see what Shlok was going to show to Aastha.

"Ofcourse now!! I am talking about the evening snacks, not tomorrow's breakfast!!" said Sojal. Aditi looked helplessly at Shlok and Aastha. "What are you looking at? Come...!!" said Sojal.

Aditi cursed her fate as she reluctantly went to the kitchen along with Sojal. Sojal and Varad exchanged glances. Varad showed a 'thumbs up' saying 'well done' to Sojal and also gestured that he would keep an eye on what's going on with Shlok and Aastha.

Aastha was curious to know what Shlok wanted to show her. Aastha suddenly felt her hand uncovered and empty as Shlok pulled out his hand to unlock his room. And then Aastha realised that she was holding Shlok's hand since don't know how long. She blushed as she held her left hand in her right one and brought it close to her heart.

Varad was watching curiously from a distance.

Aastha was trying to recall whether Shlok had locked his room when she had last come. No, he hadn't. And why would anyone lock his/her room? Aastha was confused. "I hope he has not brought me here to search for some file...!!" she thought. She couldn't resist herself from asking, "Sir, have you brought me here to look for a file?"

Shlok smiled at her question. His smile confused Aastha. He had unlocked the door but he did not open it. He stepped aside gesturing Aastha to push open the door and naughtily said, "See for yourself...!!" Looking at Shlok's naughty smile, Aastha was not sure whether she should open the door. Varad was waiting for Aastha to push open the door. Shlok looked at Aastha and said, "Itna mut socho yaar... There is no need to worry, no one's gonna eat you...!!" he teased her. Aastha smiled. "I know!" she said. Finally, she pushed the door with both her hands.

She was stunned and pleasantly surprised at the sight in front...!!

I loved how u introduced few new characters e.g aakash, Rahul (shlok friend) n more new people in office. The story is very refreshing to see how u kept original main characters but adapted every role accordingly... I was shocked to see sojal being soo nice n close to shlok, in fact its is very first time I read her character being positive, anjali not shlok ayi but still she cares n concern for him alot. Also was very happy for once swati was not shlok girlfriend but good to see how u still kept her main asset of the story n why shlok couldn't take aastha presence in beginning...

Nice to see how ashlok is getting affected with each n other n Astha is understanding him in every way.

You have done brilliant work, have only few chapters left will continue within next few hours. Plzz pm me in any updates...
