Hi, was wondering what the Bollywood home video market is like in India and rest of the world.
Unlike Hollywood movies there are not set release dates for DVD's and Blu-Rays.
A lot of movies are available on demand, satellite, digital rentals and other forms of streaming now in India and the rest of the world.
How many of you have collections of Bollywood movies? Do you rarely buy movies? A few a month? Big collector and buy almost everything?
There is no websites for checking physical sales of VCD's, DVD's, and Blu-rays either. Yet almost every movie gets a physical release and the lucky few even on blu-ray so they must be selling right?
I have heard many companies have shutdown like Moserbaer and are not producing dvd's anymore.
Any knowledge on the matter would be appreciated, thank you.
