It's a little thing but super annoying

Hi guys...

do any of you know who is responsible for the subtitles for the show?!

I've pointed out issues with the subtitles not always being the appropriate translation of the Hindi/Punjabi...case in point half-sister=Step sister🤔...but even that was more of a cultural competency issue really since there is no English equivalent...

what was super annoying to me in yesterdays episode was when Ballu got excited about Veera accepting his proposal what he was saying was completely incorrect in the translation!!!
He said something about "kudi mere pyaar ked (game) mein phus gayi...but it translated into something along the lines of "you have accepted my love"...W*F?!!!

Yes I understand Hindi, but not as well as I do Punjabi...so the subtitles are great for those difficult times...and I don't know why but if there are English subtitles available my eyes always go to them...how annoying was it to see something that was sooo wrong!!! I mean if I didn't understand Hindi at all I'd be confused...cuz we all know that Ballu loves Veera but he doesn't know it yet ...but we do!!!

I know this is a totally nerdy post...and not a huge deal, but still I wanted to share and see if anyone else feels as annoyed as me😆

Kudi mere chakkar mein padh gai...he said this which means that the girl has fallen in my trap lol

^^^yeah that was it...sorry I couldn't remember the exact line...but did you see the English translation?!..."Girl has accepted my love...or something like that (damn I can't remember it word for word...I should have wrote it down lol)

This is the case for many shows, the subtitles are either wrong or over exaggerated.

Hey Sunny this seems to be the case for all shows and movies. Even I noticed one of the errors in translation yesterday.
Baldev was telling veera if crows would run after her, something along those lines, and instead the translation came as dogs running after her! 🤣 since I know hindi I'm okay with it, but it would be misleading and annoying for a person who would want subtitles and relies on subtitles.
