mujra songs are one of the most interesting and celebrated ingridient of hindi cinema... though in modern era post 2000 we happen to watch it lesser, but people still enjoy and appreciate those aesthetically made piece of arts injected in hindi films.

which one is ur favorite from the list... (u can add more in comments as poll only allows ten options).

Mose Chhal from Guide of Waheeda isn't a mujra actually, but more of a classical dance.

From the list i'd pick ''Inn Aakhon Ki Masti'' of Rekha. NO ONE can beat Rekha in mujras! Rekha is the ultimate, unbeatable ''Mujra Queen''. Her hand gestures, adaas, expressions, and everything is CLASSIC! She's a BEAUTY esp. when she does mujra! ⭐️

1) ''In Aakhon Ki Masti'',

2) ''Salaam-e-Ishq''

3) ''Justuju Jiski Thi'' -Umraao Jaan (Watch this song, and you'll know why she's a Legend)

4) ''Dil Cheez Kya Hai'' are few to be named ...

Also Madhuri excelled in ''Mardaala'' and ''Kaahe Chhed'' from Devdas. One of her best performance, also one of the best dances in Hindi Cinema of All Time.

But Rekha wins in Mujras to me. Hands Down. 👏

All Rekha's mujras. The Umraao Jaan mujras especially. Nobody came close to the grace and ada of hers. 👍🏼

Rekha is the undisputed queen in this!

Inn aankhon ki masti is legend!

Her expressions, ada, dance movements, costume, look...were flawless. And she was gorgeous!

I must say her mujra numbers never looked sleazy or naughty. She brought a certain class to those numbers with her impeccable performance!

I agree... not taking anything away from her contribution and talent, but at the same time she is also lucky to got a film like umrao jaan (the real one) which was made bywith real lakhnavi director Muzaffar Ali who was born and broughtup there and understood the little details and nuisances about that culture.. but yeah she is the queen and she set the bar of mujras to a new and very high standard...

madhuri's kaahe ched cherd comes close to rekha's subtleness in mujras though..

no, i also like it this song was kind of pioneer of bollywood mujras... there were mujras in bw era also, but inhi logon registered its impact in viewers minds deeply about mujras..great lyrics and undercurrent emotions of an unhappy tawaif, but in a light cher chaar mood that made this song n mujra unique.
