Hi guys….This is my first attempt to write a fan-fic. It might not be as good as those written by the pros on this forum…. But well…. It's just an attempt to put down my thoughts in fan fic…. Here it goes…. ( Caution: This is not a sweet, romantic fan fic)
Angad and Kripa have decided to put their wedding plans to a standstill, till Prithvi finds someone for himself. Hence their romance is kept hush-hush from the media, which has a reputation of making a big issue of everything (especially since the Kripa Prithvi wedding was called off, not so long back). With personal differences sorted out, they decide to get back work. They continue from where they had stopped, i.e. Kripa is a BIG Star, and Angad is a star too, but his popularity has been considerably depleted partly due to his own efforts to ruin his career and partly due to Kripa' s increasing popularity. Prithvi continues as an event manager, managing her shows and her career.
Angad-Kripa shows are huge hits and people have long forgotten the Josh-Kripa pairing. But due to his past reputation of threatening his co stars (Kripa) publicly, arriving drunk at his own concert and not arriving at all has somehow lead everyone to like the uncomplicated, small town Kripa more than the womaniser and the spoilt brat Angad. (Now people don't know the real A-K story or the real Angad like we do)
To the rest of the world, Angad and Kripa are bitter rivals. The success of Angad-Kripa shows has been because of Kripa's popularity more than that of Angad's.
It is that time of the year, when the coveted awards for the "SINGER OF THE YEAR" are going to be presented. Angad has been winning this award for the past two years, and his loved ones want him to complete his hat trick.
AT THE REHERSAL HALL:
PRITHVI: Hey Kripa, tum aaj ke awards function ke liye tayyar ho naa? Mujhe pata nahin aisa kyun lag raha hai ke aaj hamari success ka sabse bada din hone wala hai…..
KRIPA: (Smiling) Lets hope so Prithvi. Main bhi yehi chahti hoon ke Angad who kar dikhaye jo koi ab tak nahin kar paya hai. You know, koi lagatar teen baar yeh award nahin jeet paya hai…. I am sure Angad will be the first one to achieve this feat…
PRITHVI: (softly) Actually mera matlab toh kuch aur tha…(loudly) Anyways forget it…. You be at the venue, 8' o clock sharp. Angad has a reputation of arriving late. Tum bhi der mat karna. Aur haan, mujhe aaj shaam ki flight se Delhi jaana hai. So I can't make it.
KRIPA: Don't worry Angad and I will be there on time. Aur main tumhe khush khabari sunane ke liye zaroor phone karoongi.
AT THE AWARDS FUNCTION:
The place is glittering with lights and with big stars. The best singers, filmstars and business tycoons have assembled to attend the function. The awards are being presented one by one. As expected, Kripa wins the award for the best debutante. Then its time to announce the BIG ONE, the Award for the singer of the Year. Angad and Kripa(looking really pretty in a blue and black kurta) are sitting at the same table with Kripa looking all excited about her new achievement. Angad smiles sweetly at her, feeling really happy for her.
The presenter arrives onstage…..
PRESENTER: Well, ab who waqt aa gaya hai jiska hum sab ko besabri se intezaar tha. Kya aap ke favourite singer ko best singer ka award milega? Kya iss baar koi naya record banega…. Kaun kiska record todega??
Ok…. Main aap ko aur suspense mein nahin rakhna chahti. But before announcing the award, let me tell you aaj ek naya record banega…. So keep your fingers crossed…… And the award goes to….. .....................None other than the beautiful, charming, enthralling Kripa Sharma!!! Yeh aisa pehli baar hua hai ke kisi debutante ko aisa prestigious award mila hai. May I call upon Miss Kripa Shrama to come onstage to receive the award.
The crowd bursts into an applause and gives her a standing ovation. Kripa cannot believe her ears. She just jumps with joy and hugs Angad tightly. Angad plants a quick kiss on her forehead before she heads towards the stage.
