I just saw the finale to TMP and it was so good. Made me think, maybe she should write rom-com scripts for BW. I genuniely feel that there are so few rom-coms in India there are truly romantically heart-warming and yet so effin' funny. I mean of course there's JWM, Socha Na Tha, etc. But the romantic genre is overwhelming dramatic slightly melodramatic and less laugh out loud funny.
I was amazed at the level of writing and how an episode can fill an viewing audience member with a roller coaster of emotions. Also, I feel she would bring very "western" themes like sexual innuendos or just openly talking about sex, dating non-desis, single Indian woman in her 30s working and not being married at 24, live-ins, more realistic representation of the gays, etc. As someone who doesn't live in India it would be nice to watch things that a tiny bit more relatable, risque, and genius with relevant pop culture references, especially if you like me grew up in a more white neighborhood. đ Plus, I'm sure there is a growing demographic of metro-residents in India that are engaging in the above activities. Just sayin' it be something more refreshing, and it she's a curvy, dark skinned woman who is so confident and finds herself extremely sexy and fashionable. And I find that truly motivating and inspirational--and a good role model material. đ
