As children we read fairy tales which ended with the fairies helping the Prince to marry his Cinderella or the Beast to marry his Beauty or the Frog to become a Prince because of true love from his Lady or Snow White to wake up from the spell when the Prince kissed her -- and they all lived Happily Ever After. During adolescence we read mushy Mills & Boone novels like those of Barbra Cartland and that Tall Dark Handsome guy ended up crushing his girl in his arms and they lived happily ever after. Then came the famous dominating Mr Darcy of Pride and Prejudice in our reading order who in the best Victorian way claimed Elizabeth and the narrative took us through all the steps and they lived happily ever after and then Henry Higgins of My Fair Lady united with Eliza and all he said in the end to show his indisputable claim over her emotions and her loyal love for him was "get my slippers Eliza" and we all guessed they lived happily ever after. But none of us have ever thought to find out whether they really did live happily after because childhood does not have a penchant for eavesdropping on youth and youth does not have a habit of eavesdropping on the prime of life and middle age belongs to a distant future which everyone in their prime feel they will overcome and old age is not on the horizon in those heady years. But some people are not that fortunate to live in the warmth of this knowledge of -- they lived happily ever after-- for very long. Like Ishita and Raman who got jolted out of their beautiful dreams all too soon and lost faith when faced with ground realities of rejection in her case and disillusionment in his case. But it can't get worse. So they must try and put all this behind them . And once again get between the covers of theses fantastic stories ,snuggle up close and learn to recapture together the romance that makes one never want to ask further after reading --They lived Happily Ever after---.I am sure they will live happily ever after and even if some of us who are curious to know and venture to find out what really happened in their case will discover they really lived happily after .Because our story wants that for them. And we all Really wish that for them

Wonderful note and a practical thought buddy.👏
This term -- "Happily ever after...", is truly exploited in my point of view but, if you look at the larger picture it clearly tends to be optimistic. That is what our elders always taught us. To be optimistic. Even though it's not child's play i swear!
To be noted that if you ever actually WANT to live happily ever after then you need problems, or else the monotonous happy life will seem insipid.
Again, it's always good to dream big even if one is a pessimist. So this term unfortunately, has equal weight on both sides of the coin.😊
