"There may be a great fire in our soul, yet no one ever comes to warm himself at it, and the passers-by see only a wisp of smoke" (I do not recall who said this, but I feel its prevalent to what we had witnessed in that last 2 mins of the episode.)
Kalpana being trapped in that fire, should not come to a surprise to us. Why? I hear you ask. Well, the answer is self-explanatory. Happiness is not something she is accustomed to without any setbacks. 2 mins ago she was in the arm of a man she loves immensely, a man who makes her feel beautiful and revives her inner femininity. Whenever he sees her, his eyes interrogates her eyes and body, those eyes make her feel things she never thought was possible, especially not to her. He wanted her to kiss him, because she felt insecure and he wanted to eliminate that insecurity from her. He wanted her to know he only had eyes for her, and only her lips would be the ones touching his, not anybody else's. And I guarantee you all she must have smacked herself for questioning why Pakhi had kissed him. But nonetheless, he got his wish today, and she kissed him. (although many are still debating on this fact, but I am adamant he got what he wanted, because if he didn't, he would not have let her go with a smile of contentment.)..And whilst she was reminiscing, her life was about to take a 360 degree turn...
Now lets come back to why I made this post....
The importance of fire in RagNa's relationship are self evident. It was fireworks that saved them from being humiliated today and I believe this quote particularly fits this situation: " the fire you kindle for your enemy often burns yourself more than them". And now lets analyse further what I meant by fire playing a significant part.
Kalpi used fire to save Raghav's first life, the night Raghav understood her real importance in his life. It was that fire that ignited his love for her. And today, once again fire is the element to bring out his intense love for her for the world to see. I mentioned this elsewhere, but am going to repeat myself here. Kalpana in realizing the fire was getting out of control, did not yell for Raghav instead she opted to yell for her Aai. And surprisingly, Kamla did not feel something was wrong with Kalpana. Yes, we all dislike her behaviour towards Kalpana,but the night Kalpana was lost in the jungle, she sensed it, she knew her daughter was in danger, then how come today, she stood there having a jolly good conversation whilst her daughter was next door waiting to be perished, despite her screaming for her mother? Who felt her plea? The man she loves. He knew something was wrong, and he followed his heart to the direction it needed to go, and struck him that she was in danger. Standing there helpless, whilst her eyes were begging for help, is going to bring out an entire different Raghav Singhania tomorrow, no force of nature can take her away.
Playing with fire is bad for those who burn themselves, whilst for the rest of us, it is a very great pleasure and that is something we are going to witness in the show tomorrow. Pakhi has been playing with fire and she is going to get burn, whilst on the other hand, this fire will bring great pleasure for RagNa by perishing all the evilness lurking around them and ensuring the entire world bear witness to their unison, all thanks to this fire.
